@fable, I called dibs on scar before most pairings were made, including KoD and Fred. So secret desires wouldn't make sense there. I did, however, assure Fred in the sign up thread that I'd advocate his death so he doesn't have to worry about being in the game come mid July-ish.

Obviously you're trying to move on from KoD by partnering with Scar but are having trouble denying you're true feelings.

Hi guys, what's going on here.

Fable/KoD stuff so far reminds me of the rivalries of old, lots of shouting, not too much substance.
Though the posts are smaller nowadays.

Will probably look more closely at things tomorrow.

Yeah you shouldn't take the me and KoD stuff too seriously. Weekends on here are always so dead and I was bored so I decided to get in a fake argument with KoD to pass the time. Io is still my focus for today until the arms race starts.

Poor KoD, I know I too wouldn't be happy to find out my life was a lie either. What did you think the Kill KoD Sweepstakes were actually about? It was just a tool to get you to target me which come to think of it was rather unnecessary because I think you were planning on doing that anyway. But did you really think I would spend money on a silly mafia game? If it makes you feel any better I had a lot of pent up rage from work and getting into a silly fake argument with you was a great release for me so you weren't completely useless. But now the game is starting again so you can run home now because the adults need to talk.

As far as that is concerned: KoD feels townier to me, and this feels like a v/v...blowup? I don't think blowup is the right word, but it looks v/v to me, considering my read of KoD so far.

Numbers tunnel on me is....interesting? I need to actually check the first 2 pages to see if he actually gave a real reason. Seems a bit like not-town Numbers though overall, so yeah.

This is the second time you've downplayed Fable in a way that really speaks to me.

What bothered me is how you started off after the game officially started when the Mod said it would start. You didn't maintain your normal, bandwagon attitude and bandwagon onto someone you could have easily bandwagoned onto (that being Fable).


For reference: These are your two posts after the official start of the game. Prior to the official start of the game you voted Rubik, but you didn't carry that over. Nor did you bandwagon onto anyone either. Below you'll find the two posts.




Do note that you made these posts clear after both CL and I had voted for Fable. It's entertaining to me that no one has addressed what CL has said wrt to Fable except for maybe Fable who only dismissed CL as being his typical self and that he finds it odd I'm seeing eye to eye with CL despite thinking I don't get along with him (which I actually do since you know I was partnered with him in Spider-Man Mafia 2: Hobgoblin Lives). Anyway, main point is that you were not oblivious to what was being thrown at Fable since you readily commented on it. It's thoroughly odd you, in your bandwagony nature, didn't bother to jump on with. In my mind, and now I'll formally state, I'm drawing a clear connection between you and Fable.

After all, in your second go round of posting you do well enough by downplaying Fable as being town by, literally, linking the read to your town read of me that you've graciously stated. Course if this is coming off as confusing, let me quote the line that matters then:

In short, you are sheeping what Fable accused me of. Don't you think it odd you would say that to me as opposed to focusing on other people that are not as active as myself?

Because I know how much you love to tunnel on people, and I'm trying to get you to be more useful than start up a pointless argument with Fable, who I also read as town atm. For pretty much the same reason as you started in on him to begin with. He came out to cause chaos and is acting decidedly less chaotic, especially from the last game, where he was super random, all over the place, and pretty scummy. This just doesn't feel like the same Fable and I view it as townier.

You calling me scum for defending Fable is exactly what I mean by you tunneling way too much though, and the very fact that I put myself out there should tell you something about my alignment, and if you can't see that, I can't help you.

Actually, did the game even officially start yet?

Neosilk said he would start the game at 8:00pm last Friday but hasn't changed the thread title yet. I'm assuming this counts as day 1 but if Neosilk wants to give us a super long day 1 I wouldn't complain.

Being D1 you know very well anything goes Fred.

Apparently life right now isn't going to give me the time of day to do this right so I'm going to play this fast and loose. And dear God do I hope not to lose any details I've gathered in the process.

One thing everyone has to remember, myself included, is this is a game where discussion matters! The setup is open, so that shouldn't matter except to those with PRs, and scum who will be seeking PRs as well as protecting their own possibly.

Stating my gut feelings with things so here we go:

Captain Lunch: Shown a touch of paranoia, not wishing to team with sister during confirmation. Could be a town or scum reaction, but for now leaning town. This extended silence however isn't helping.

Mylen Ploa: First to suggest a team up, and clearly looking to have fun early this game. Suggested the Arms Race, while a statistically town unfavorable setup, does provide a chance for discussion of opposing wagons and a starting point if followed. Recently opted out once things got rolling, but like most has gone silent.

Io: One of the few that I am getting scum vibes from, but not confident enough to say if this is from something real, or just a regular scum pinger despite actual alignment. Denied team up with alt profile invitee (that's a guess, no solid proof). Hasn't said much, didn't talk about RVS (random voting stage) vote from me, and was the fourth to vote Fable for reasons unstated. Not getting good feelings here.

Princess_Nuncheon, Rubik, Mongoose, Scar: Have collectively not added much. Too much silence to do anyone any good sitting through them.

Finally onto the three of current interest:

KoD: While tunneling, I haven't felt any OGMUS (oh my god you suck) reactions from posts. Is currently trying to drive discussions. Opposed to both Fable and Freddeh (if only for lack of discuss able targets). Can't say I'm confident yet (too early to be) but getting slight town vibes.

Fable: Let's face it, of the active players, Fable is currently a most likely to be lynched based on others reactions. Seems panicked and confused as to why, but other than a lack of delivery on promising chaos and a willingness to go with other plans hasn't given too much up. Currently sitting null here.

Freddeh: the third contender to step into the ring, and interestingly enough one of the few to want to defend Fable. This behavior is odd, but willing to see it play out for now. If he turns up scum down the road, less willing to believe Fable would be a teammate with him.


...That should finally get someone interested I'm here and not some bystander to this whole thing.
