Lomendil distractedly sends to Norston and then gets up from the table and heads over to the bar to pick up a mug of ale while he is waiting. He does his best to make his route take him as close as possible to the table for as long as possible while trying to keep both ears open.

The elf nods and speaks while looking over a menu "You may call me Rumnar, and for now let's eat. Then if before we return to the mayor's office if i may have a private word with you."

A waiter comes over to their table and starts to take orders

I would like a plate of beef stew please and a glass of Finell Ale.

Lomendil mentally fingered his purse and decided he was going to have to watch doing items like this much in future. He then continued to try and pay attention to what the other party was saying.

Norston continues to sit down in his current spot. Brother? Well that certainly narrows the limb we want to pick off of. As the mayor talks and Lomendil is of trying to spy on the group further while getting a meal, Norston flags down a waiter to order an Ervanic lager. Third beer today and at the rate they kept on frequenting taverns, likely not his last.

Lomendil looked at Norston: Well, this is excellent ale, but it seems I can only hold so much. Do you know if there is anywhere to release it? I suddenly feel the urge to do so.

He looks around to see where an appropriate place to relieve himself is and whether it is in the same direction as the leaving party.

Are you sure you didn't confuse my table with that of the party that just left? I just had a stew and ale.
