@Neo, It's probably because you still have to justify yourself and your actions. It's easy for mafia to run around and make simple statements to railroad lynches (and yes trying to force the lynch on a player that can win with town is railroading a lynch since town has no need to lynch that player to win). It's hard for them to justify themselves. Which is why I directedly asked what about Fred made you think he was town. You gave a very nondescript blanket answer similar to a politician dodging an allegation.

Dante's inferno was definitely designed, and I'm pretty sure it was also run on the mothership (although i wasn't around when it happened). Zinger talked to me about it while he was designing the game and i think his original intent was for there to be no scumteam and the game lasts indefinitely and the players only win when they realize they are in hell or something which is an amusing concept that sticks with me.

The only game i don't recognize that's been claimed is the LotR one.

I am claiming cop results everyday so there is that, they are probably the most interesting part of the game for me right now because they are the only thing that really gives me a sense that i am learning more about the design in the midst of all this random chaos although i am skeptical of them anyways. I am eager to see what happens when i target myself so i am hoping I won't die.

and with PK now back in the game this is still my top interest

You're talking about one of the Pick claims right HW? IIRC, there have been three pick games. HW's Pick your Role. Zinger's UPick here on NGA. But the original was a YMTC game from the mothership. That game featured players designing their own cards and then roles being drafted based on those designs. I believe Zinger cohost that with another YMTC regular/pt mafia player but don't quote me on that. Given Silly's initial claim, this is the game I believed that role slot to be but yeah, that claim has since been redacted and generally just disavowed which is why I said I believed Silly was lying about the initial claim.

There still might be some truth to it. The number 1 type of successful fake claim is built upon partial truth blocks. But given Silly's later retractions in certain areas we can be sure that what was presented probably isn't exactly the case.

The first mafia game i ever played was a YmtC invitational wherein players designed cards and roles were designed based on the cards, and then assigned to random players. It was run by zipper and ambi. IDK if that is what you are thinking of though.

I designed and ran two separate UPick games. One was a "Pick your own Role" game, and the other was "UPick, mafia the gathering", which you all remember for the craziness that was. There was a third UPick game at some point which was not run by me.

I will happily confirm for those of you who's memory doesn't go that far back that all the titles of games that have been claimed so far are games that I have designed. Course, that means diddly squat, since I don't make my games breakable by flavour. You should know that by now.
