I was pretty quiet, but I had a ton of fun with this! I've always considered trying to run my own Spiderman-style Variant mafia (Of course, not spiderman flavored. That's Zinger's wheelhouse), and this game proved to me again both why I want to do it and why I probably don't have the talent to pull it off. Zinger deserves a lot of respect for putting this all together.
Thanks bro.
Glad you enjoyed it. If I ever need a backup Mod for one of these things, I'll let you know.
Thanks Zinger! A lot of fun. Wish I had picked up on how to play proper faster (and actually got to use my abilities before I got role blocked - thanks Iso
), but reading so many new people from the get go was tricky. Loved my role, despite going out only cause Spidey "died". But you know. A lot of fun playing with you all though! Hope I can be a part of the third instalment and hopefully do more!!
You will totally get an invite to the third one.
KoD and 15377 were my least favorite people in this game and made it impossible for me to have any fun. Tie into that the fact that my win condition was nigh-impossible, especially after targeting the Hobgoblin, nobody listening to me about said Hobgoblin, and then the Plot Twist ability (coupled with the fact that I was on to Hobby and butting heads with 15377) and this game was completely stacked against me.
That said, I appreciate the effort Zinger put into the setup and running the game, and I hope it turned out favorably in his eyes.
I listened about hobby.
Of course, then I got more information about Lilan and people were doubting that even though it came from Spiderman himself. So yeah...that didn't work out really how we wanted to either.
The BASTARD element really worked against everyone pretty hard in this game. Almost everyone didn't believe obvious tells right in front of their faces because "It is a bastard game, it couldn't be that easy." What happened at the end with KoD is obviously a side-effect of that, and earlier with Lilan. It came to a point where people weren't even sure if they could trust their own abilities from lying to them.
I might see about making the next one Bastard-lite.
Its difficult to play when you can't trust anything at all.
