LyLo? in this game?

Last time zinger used a lot of tricks to make sure that important characters lasted long( I was a modified doctor that received the rolenames of players that were going to die and could save one of them, thus ensuring the survival of spiderman and other superheroes), I'm not sure that the game will end quickly,lylo is possible and we lost every big game here, so I prefer not risking to arrive in the later days with scum being having multiple votes.

...I'm having a hard time telling who people are referring to with town and scum.

town = majority
scum = minority

Well, the obvious answer would be to revenge-vote you, but I don't see how that would really benefit anyone. In fact, the only reason I could see to vote at all at this point is to see if my votes have any kind of secret powers. So I'd just throw a vote in a direction where it would be unlikely to affect the outcome of the Canto. In fact, I think I will:

It's goog not to revenge vote, unless you have a legitimate reason too, but I'm curious as to why you picked Garren for not likely to affect the outcome?
My guess is simply a random name that doesn't have much if any heat at the moment.

I like what razorborne is thinking; going to our home circles. It would make sense that our characters would have the most power there.

Yes indeed. I picked someone who currently had no votes on them, partly because it felt like a safe way to avoid rocking the boat. Also, anyone who starts the game in the ninth circle must be trouble...

I missed that he was voting to see if his votes do anything; I thought he was simply voting to get Hello World off his back.

That is acceptable, then. If there was such a thing as forgiveness in Hell, I would forgive you. As it is, I'll just say that we are currently not enemies.

With roughly 3 days till deadline, I think it's time to start moving in a more defined direction.

Dude like up and disappeared. His last post is on page 5, almost a full 48 hours ago (we are somewhere around 42ish if my timestamps aren't all wonky). That...well, that's really the best I got right now. The game is currently too undefined, but dropping off the radar is usually an indication of having something to hide.

It's my daughter's birthday this weekend, so, I've just been a bit busy. Not really sure what I can add to the conversation. I'm not Dante, I'm not Lucifer, and my home is the 5th circle. That's about all I've gotten.
I've got my vote on Razor (I believe) due to it looking like he had a negative vote interaction, which I'm taking as he being Divine. Since I'm not Divine aligned, that's where my vote is, lacking other info.

Oh, and the new Duels game came out on iPad, and it's been taking more of my time than I had expected

that's pretty outguess-y right there.

Also,I just noticed no lynch happens at majority MINUS one, three mafia aligned players in greed with a nightkill could potentially stop us from lynching starting from canto 2, depending on what number is majority and, while that would too risky for them to try, it could be harder to stop once we enter canto 3.
I really don't want anybody in greed.

If I had to guess, I could only guess inferno.
But I'd just as soon say there is no such thing as "town".

My reasoning might be weak, but, it's something. I really think I'm right, but, even if I am, it doesn't mean that he's someone that I need to lynch.
As far as my excuse...don't give me a pass or anything on that. I'm just stating it. My daughter turns 5 on Saturday, party is on Sunday, and I need to come up with a cake that's shaped like a lamb for her (like my son's penguin one...)

And, duels, which I said I was not going to get on iPad, but I did anyway. So, I am here, I'm just not posting as much as I usually do, because reasons, and, I'm still trying to figure this all out.

I mean, I can't post town/scum reads in a format like this, right? I'm trying to come up with Dante/Lucifer reads...but, you know, that's kind of tough right now.

So, don't give me any type of pass, I'm here, trying to figure this all out like you. Just wanted to put some of my thoughts and why I'm not quite as active as other games down.

I'll be V/LA until Sunday, and I can't garantee that I'll be around before the canto ends, but I'll leave something for everyone to discuss before I go.

I'm normally against it on Day1, but this game has many more variables than your regular Mafia game, so how do people feel about a No Lynch here? It looks like there isn't a "Night" in this game, so I assume there isn't something like a NK, so the punishment for a NL would be smaller.

I'm normally against it as well, and, I don't think I'm going to change my mind here. No matter who or what alignment someone is when they get lynched, it's going to at least give us some game information. And, I think we need that now.

@Hello World: The reason it would have felt obvious to revenge vote you was because I felt that you were unreasonably aggressive towards me. Which of course makes me dislike you, but it does not necessarily make you the enemy.

@fel & Neo: We do not know for sure that there is no night kill. I would think it quite possible for Dante and/or Lucifer to be able to kill people. Instead of thinking that there is no night, think that each Canto is a complete day and night cycle, and it is easy to imagine that we could have kills and other abilities happen and that they would simply take effect either at the end of the canto, or at the beginning of the next. That said, No Lynch does seem like a valid option.

No lynch is always a valid option, but it's not always a good option. I've always been a proponent of a strategic no lynch. Or such a no lynch that achieves a very specific end. No lynch here does not achieve anything. Lynching Neo does, however, as he's playing Duel but I can't play for another six days, so yeah. Let's lynch him for being a punk.

Also I don't agree with his reasoning for his vote. It feels very presumptive and opportunistic.
