Another beginner question:
Is it normal that we get to see the whole pm he got sent, including his ability and video?
I think in the previous game only the alignment of dead players got posted (or maybe also the role-name).

The standard is alignment and role name but it's at designers discretion what is revealed. Full reveals aren't terribly uncommon.

Interesting choice to kill KoD. Not sure how that changes the evaluation of everyone's position from yesterday.

Honestly, I wanted to lynch him yesterday, and that hasn't changed. Yesterday he claimed having a weak power role to escape the noose, but then last Night he didn't even use the role to provide proof of his claim (assuming something of his role use would have been verifiable). I agree with JD that KoD's flip doesn't give us a lot of new angles to go after (given KoD may have been playing for both teams at the time—he was like Schrodinger's cat, both Town and Mafia until Day 2 arrived), so without anywhere else to look I'm going to keep tunneling Aaarrrgh.

With 7 players alive, the Majority is 4 votes. If a Majority was not met, the player with the most votes is Lynched instead at Deadline unless there is a tie, in which case no one is Lynched. Currenly, Aaarrrgh is at L -2.

On the subject of Aaarrrgh, I think he's due for a little more explanation. I can see down playing it going into night if you think it would make you a target but if the utility is so low that you don't feel you need to use it then that throws that reasoning out the window, along with it being a saving grace.

My ability is single use. That's both why I called it minor and why I didn't feel confident that using it N1 was the best decision. I feel I have to stay vague to avoid confirming my alignment through my NLP, so I won't state exactly what my role is, but I'm more than willing to use it tonight.

Aaarrrgh, that's not much more than you gave us yesterday. I'm not seeing any reason to change my vote. I don't care about your NLP. All I see is a player who is being shifty and is just like "gime one more day guys, trust meeeee".

@M0nster: I understand that I can look shifty right now, but this is just how I play. I don't do the whole in your face bravado that you and KoD do, and I never will. The fact that you cannot process the concept of other people playing the game differently than you is not my fault.



In order for what I did to be called a diversion, both JD and I would have to be scum. Or what other reason would I have to divert a wagon? What I did was making sure that D1 didn't end of the first wagon that formed. Considering the fact that JD ended the day with no votes, people clearly agree that he was not an ideal lynch. So why am I scum for leading us away from it?

Anyway, I guess I shouldn't just be defensive, because that is getting us nowhere. I am fairly certain that we are dealing with at least one lurker scum here. Of the lurkers, Naga has done nothing to contribute to town, and as such seems a good place to park a vote for the time being.

Nobody is expecting you to change your playstyle. But you've exhibited scumtells since Day 1 and you've still not addressed them. Your response to being perceived as scummy is simply "Okay, yeah I did those things, but just give me one more Day and I'll explain!"

And you've done that two days in a row and expect it to still work?

What exactly do you want me to explain? I have repeatedly addressed why I proposed an alternate wagon, and I have explained that my power role is single use and that I chose not to use it because I didn't feel it would be of great utility. What else are you after? What could I possibly say that would be enough for you?

This is probably fairly accurate at the moment. Rag is going to be sporadic pending keyboard issues. Naga is prone to inattention with bold bursts when he comes back. HW has already stated he's not trying to do anything this game because he didn't want to play so there's really no telling what his future actions will amount to.

As for Aaarrrgh, we can bank in that he believes his role is alignment confirming, but that is a matter of opinion so I'm not putting too much stock into the mere belief he is holding in terms of deducing his alignment. I don't find his action yesterday to be particularly scummy except the breadcrumb itself. If you're willing to claim to save your life then you have to jump both feet first, not dip your toe in and call it good. With that said I'd speculate he's a one shot investigative waiting for the pool to dwindle to increase his potency.

@Aaarrrgh, I've just placed a target on your head. If I'm right it'll behoove you to admit it to 1)avoid the Lynch so you can take your shot and 2) draw any protective roles town has to ensure you make it to tomorrow to reveal your results.

I'm going to bed now. I will say that JD isn't quite right about me, but in a roundabout way some of what he's guessing about my role is correct. And while I would of course appreciate protection, it would probably not be necessary for my role to fulfill is purpose, as far as I understand the rules. Goodnight!
