Seeing one of the bandits struggling to hold his own against the combined assault of Lendir and Alexandros Zau Gwai moves up and takes a swing at him as well.

The door suddenly swings open again, and Alois ducks away. The second bandit runs through into the workshop and slashes at Zau Gwai on the way. She tumbles through past Lendir.
The trapped bandit tries to pull himself together and slams his shield weakly against Alexandros. Hemmed in, he continues to swing uselessly at the man who called up the soldiers surrounding him.
Bandit 1 is now bloodied. Zau Gwai is now bloodied.
It is now Alexandros' turn.

"If something works why stop doing it, right?"Alexandroshisses as he slams his warhammer down on the large bandit and conintuies the illusion of a spectral legion filling the room. The tiefling notices the second bandit has entered the room but he has no way to push through the crowd and deal with her so instead he tries to work a psychic compulsion to get her attention.

The force of Soon's arrow launches the bandit back into the closed door, rattling it. There is some more noise on the other side and a short scream.

The bandit's armor crumples under the weight of Zau Gwai's strike. His aggression has clearly fled.
The lighter bandit jumps forward, stabs Zau Gwai, then tumbles back to another set of double doors and opens one of them.
"Don't abandon me!" wails the heavier bandit. He swings ineffectually at Alexandros and then throws down his sword. "This isn't worth it! I surrender! Please!"
"Coward!" cries the woman.
It is now Alexandros' turn.

The armored bandit does not react as Alexandros darts away. "Bastard!" hisses the woman as the battlemind's attack, psionically multiplied, drops her. She crumples to the ground in place. The open door behind her illuminates the dimly lit hallway beyond a little.
Bandit 2 is unconscious.

He reaches down and pulls the woman out of the threshold before shutting the door to keep this more of a private affair. Stepping around the workhorse and standing between Zau Gwai and Lendir the tiefling stares down at the burly bandit."What were the pair of you after?"

"...you're an idiot."Zau Gwai shakes his head and chuckles as he moves over the the unconscious bandit and begins stripping her of her belongings. "There are two of you and you were discovered before you even got out of the back rooms." He lifts up the blade that was so recently being imbedded in his back, inspects it for a moment, then tosses it casually over his shoulder. "What were you going to do? Shake your knives at them and just hope they hand over their belongings?" He looks up from his task for a moment and beings counting something on his fingers while mouthing the numbers. "There must be at least a few hundred people out there. Even if they gave you their stuff how would you carry it away?" He turns slightly towards the armoured bandit and gives him a quick look over. "You're fully armoured. She's cloaked and full of knives. You stand out worst then I do. You know the sort of people who visit these places? The sort that require the streets to be full of guards all the time. You would get about ten steps before you alert someone." The gnolll bursts into a fit of laughter before shaking his head again. "Kids these days. Don't even know the basics."

Just checking over the unconscious bandit to see what see has on her. Here is a roll in case she has like a secret pocket or something. Thieves capes are full of them I hear. Perception: 21 (+5 if Scent matters).

Zau Gwai Perception
Zau Gwai finds only a stray 1 silver note on the unconscious woman. Her sole weapon was the short sword.
Zau and Alex began questioning the bandit, but Lendir was oblivious to the conversation. Worried about the screams he heard, he cautiously walked towards the closed door from where the screams came from, and tried to open it doing as little noise as possible.

As Lendir tries to sneak the door open, only to see a man looking right at him from down the hall. The man is dressed in dark leather armor and holds a dagger in hand. Once he sees Lendir, the man dashes back through the open double doors at the end of the hall and turns out of sight. The man must have stopped running because Lendir loses track of him.
The hall is lit well though not brightly. Along the left, there are doors. The closest one is open and Lendir can see racks of clothes beyond it. These must be the dressing rooms and the like backstage. Two corridors break away from the hall to the right.
