Yeah... depending on what you cast with that you could easily wipe out either myself or True. Hell, Shrivel would straight up win you the game on my upkeep. I must say, I've dearly underestimated Vicious Shadows in my deckbuilding and shall have to add it to my own Nekusar build.

Spell is fine by me. I wonder at your damage record though. Story doesn't have Nekusar out. As I figure it, you should have taken no damage on his turn and 9 on your upkeep from iron maiden (13 CiH -- the 6 you had before plus the 7 from Temporal)

You are right. I thought NeKusar was out, and the spell read discard your hand, then draw 7 cards. I will remade the play when I have time. Disregard it for now.

As a sidenote, playing Crater Hellion would almost assuredly be instant death for either you, me, or both 'cause Vicious Shadows. In fact, any creature dying would be hazardous to your health and 2-3 would be sufficient to take me out. I really wish I had a good way to deal with that.

He actually had 5 cih before draw due to the charm being cast. So he'd take 8 at upkeep, putting him at 11.

And you do have a way to deal with it... You just don't care to leave enough mana out to make use of it.

Yeah, round 7 was just getting started when the forum transition buggered up everything. There were about five of us then, but while I'd be interested in relaunch I haven't heard from most of those who were around at the Boardpocalypse -- TGL and Pacone. I'd certainly be interested in resurrecting the wargame at any time, and I can say it was a total blast from the past to see your name posting.

I should probably make a post on the group, where anyone can find the breadcrumb.
