And lo on the darkest of nights a single bolt of light appeared. Some say the heavens struck down and obliterated all that stood in their path. Some say the light burst forth from the ground to the sky, the ascent of an angel. Other say it was ladies night at the local strip club and it was a beacon calling all forth that long to see some stylish banana hammocks. Who is to say for sure?

All we know is that the light split the night like Moses parting the seas and then there was you standing next to me just asking why it was the third day of christmas already. But I was in mourning, you see, we still didn't have a freakin pear tree. And our beloved Mayor of Terisia Duskyblue was no more.

Zingers result was Dusky was naughty. I'll bet you guys are shocked by that target choice. I know I was.

Ok, so Dusky was everyone's target. I don't get why Dusky was taken out though, unless it has something to do with the rest of us (myself having multiple results on me already, Zinger with his claimed list just as a couple examples).

There's too much room for error given the results from numerous people, and Dusky being the only target doesn't exactly scream (scum) more so than maybe a sacrifice play. At least, that's how I'm viewing it since she was the only death (conceivably eating two kill abilities).

What gets me is that Rag has no results on them (save for themself), and Dark only has one result from Zinger.

Barring multiple roles existing, Sky and Rag are seemingly set to be the same sanity seemingly (among others like Dark and Fred and others possibly for other combinations).

Right now Fred doesn't strike me as odd here. Depending on whether you think the ability use that forced targets onto Dusky came from Dusky herself or someone else, maliciously, then I'd think Fred is seemingly plain here (normal santa if you will barring sanity). From a malicious standpoint, Dusky only makes sense if you're trying to keep a lot of pieces on the board to mess with people. After all, Dusky had different results N0 and N1 (Goose Nice and Sky Naughty) so if the hit was on Dusky intentionally for her results, that'd seemingly point at Sky (since Goose is dead), but that kind of analysis feels too shallow. Especially when you keep in mind the results on me, my and Zinger's results differing (one of us seems set to be sane while the other is insane and indicate different people).

I don't think the ability use on Dusky was malicious. I think it was used by Dusky in all honesty (because the idea of drawing two kills onto one self seems more town sided than an antagonistic ability). And that buys time while netting results all on one person (like verifying Fred's result on her again proves nothing was messed with between the previous night and that night so that helps).



Ultimately we're stuck having to make broad assumptions regarding sanity in order to come to a chop. Zinger has yet to comment more about his list and lack of a NLP which still makes him a contender, but given we've had a lot of time pass I'd like to get an answer to Dark's question towards Rag:

Why exactly me?

I'm back. I have not had a chance to catch up yet but I am back. I have stuff to share but I need to catch up first. I moved last week and only just now got my computer set up at the new place cuz reasons.

I have historically never used my (in)Famous NLP during Christmas Rumble Dethy games, which I believe was originally per someone's request (I think JD? Or another player? I forget) cuz they said it was unfair in Dethy, and I agreed.

That said, you know I'm not fond of lying in general, hence why the policy exists in the first place. Not that that means much here.

I do in fact have a list of everyone's alignment. Ostensibly, I (or, more accurately, my character) made the list himself (and checked it twice for good measure), though it was already done by the time I got my role PM, so I (the player) had little to do with it.
