Devan turns to the rest of the group waiting to see what they have to say before adding anything else himself, and all the while he continues to savor the wine's fragrance.

Selias sits, gravely eyeing the map. "Well... We should make haste then, should we not?" He moves a hand to his dark hair, damp with either the sweat of nervousness, or residual seawater. "Every moment here is a moment he could have found the map."

Kurat sits in silence as his host and his companions discuss the finer details of the plan. His eye lights up when the letter is produced and the mention of a vast and hidden treasure is revealed. His toothy smile turns to a heavy frown however when he hears how the Captain had no only lost his ship but that it has ended up in the hands of Hordon Ironfist. Pushing heavily off the table and onto he feet the hobgoblin grabs one of the drinks he clearly didn't order and downs it in a single loud gulp. Adjusting his hat he steps away form the table, his fist tightening around the shaft of his morningstar and he looks first to the door and then back towards the group.

"Well? What are ya waitin' on? Formal invitation? That bilge rat of a dwarf thinks he can scuttle a mans ship over bleedin' customs? Not on my watch! Don't you be worryin' your 'ead capn. We'll get you ya ship back, we'll get ya map..." He gives a wide-toothy grin, his eye practically glittering. "...and then cap'n we'll be gettin' you our treasure." He turns and begins throwing his bulk through the crowd, forcing his way towards the door.

Devan grabs the bottle of wine from the table and extends it to Kurat.

"There is still wine...and words to be said my hasty friend."

Turning to John one hand still holding the wine.

"There is a better way for us to get the ship back without having to fight over it or find the authorities on our heels. What I want to ask though is, who will be sailing with us or are the five of us enough to man it. And secondly there is a small problem with the reward. To help you find the treasure and split it up is acceptable, but what do we get for reclaiming your vecel captain?"

Laying back on his chair he adds

"Once we clear this little detail, we can attend to your ship captain."

Devan produces a blank parchment and ink and quill from a pouch. He puts it on the table and grabs some more cheese and onion. Taking a sip of wine he looks at Captain John expectantly.

"The reclamation of the ship is paramount to the discovery of the treasure. I would think that was obvious." John scowls uneasily. "Believe me, if a tithe of what I've read is true then you will be more than compensated for rescuing ten ships ten times over. As for the crew, I... had no crew, even when the vessel was mine. My father's lot disbanded when he died and by this point they've most likely scattered to all corners of the earth - Marinport, Cliffport, Daggerport... I was hoping you lot would know how to run a ship. If you can't, I can teach you."

"I happen to know my way around a ship." Jonas says, "And frankly I'd rather be back on one sooner instead of later."

"Aye," says John, "I could see it in you. The way your legs are always shifting. Compensating for the pitch that ain't there."

Devan keeps smiling and savoring his wine while waiting for Ohana to share his mind as well. In the meantime he spreads the old parchment and fixes it on the table. Then, quill in hand, he starts putting down some lines with what seems like red ink...
