It takes a little while to get everybody adjusted, but eventually the four of you will inspect each of the arrows in depth. The arrow of blood is found to be humanoid in nature, but when Folkmire gets closer to it he can feel it was from a powerful mage. Even dead and dried, the blood gives off a slight magical aura, something that could only be attained by prolonged and direct exposure to constant magic. Angered by the slaying of a fellow mage, he spits on the the ground by the blood and as his spit mixes with the blood an overwhelming scent fills the air and then quickly dissipates, leaving everyone feeling a little light headed for a moment. Both Augur and Folkmire will get a brief look at the blood's owner's last moments as she was slaughtered, nothing tangible, but they know they experienced her memories for a moment.
The arrow of feces is identified by Finnean who can tell that it is probably reptilian in nature due to the fragments of bones and feathers in it. He'll also note that it was killed about three quarters into the digestion of the meal and its feces taken out since the solids in it would have broken down more before it would have been excreted naturally.
The arrow of black sludge is re-looked at a bit more in depth by both Augur and Folkmire, and aside from being an unnatural forming liquid, it too is magical in nature. As they prod and inspect it, Augur accidentally prods it with his exposed finger and he screams out in pain. When he recovers only a minute later, he'll inform the party that it seems to be concentrated emotion, probably pain or fear. Folkmire gets close to it as well, but doesn't touch it, and the sludge reacts a bit and actually seems to tendril up towards him, but only by less than an inch. It dies down again as he backs up from it.
Ulrik, fascinated with the gold spends a bit more time staring at it and comes to the realization that the fool's gold is not only mixed, but it's actually part of the fluid. Whatever it came from, actually uses the fool's gold as part of its physiology.
