Posterity
Sign Ups are Closed. We are running The Mines of Madness adventure module. If you don't have the materials, they are a free download (sign-up required) from This Link Right Here. Rolling ability scores At your discretion, you may choose one of these two options:
Take the Standard Array: {16,14,13,12,10,8}, and assign those numbers to your ability scores as you see fit. Starting Equipment and Wealth Your character begins with the starting equipment and coinage for your class plus your background (the equipment you can sell at half price). Additionally, you start with 1d6 x 100 extra gold representing your adventuring fortune, minus the cost of your living expenses (Equipment PDF, page 12). The value of that same 1d6 roll determines your Lifestyle as the game opens.
2: Squalid 3: Poor 4: Modest 5: Comfortable 6: Wealthy Other Notes Also, everyone must roll 1d100 during character creation. Lastly, please make sure you understand how Feats work in this particular playtest, as they are different than normal, and each class has the option of gaining feats at certain levels now. You don't get an automatic Feat at first and third levels. Unless I am mistaken, I believe no one should have any Feats, regardless of class. Class Choices (Don't think that just because someone picked a class that it's off limits, this is just FYI) Bounty Hunter: Monk Leopold: Paladin Deruvid: Druid Aradon: Ranger Squity Eyes: Mage Silverghost: Rogue

I would run any of these, I'll have to make sure all my playtest stuff up to date. No preference on the module from me though. |

Well, are you actually going to vote, "Leopold"? |

Once its decided which module you're looking to run, you dont mind if I advertise the game on other sites do ya? |

I certainly don't. I already am advertising it with my facebook group (hence, Leopold). If you can check the metaboard forums, I posted that two others didn't get their activation emails. If we have enough, I'll split it into two groups and just run both modules. |

I'll get an admin to check on the emails. The issue has came up once or twice, not sure what the deal is. |

Count me in, rolling Druid. (Who'd've guessed?!) I voted for the PAX module since I didn't really care much for the isle of dread. |

I'd be up for giving Play-by-post a try. Never tried it before, but it should be interesting enough. As for the module, I would suggest the PAX one simply to avoid repetition with the Isle of Dread, but I was hardly present for much of it at all, so I'd be up for either. |

I'm going to keep this open for some time in case any of the other NGA folks want to join in. I know miss_bun expressed some potential interest in playing a DDN game. For what it's worth, I'm probably looking at putting up an OOC thread (or threads, if the group splits in two) no sooner than the 3rd. Then a few days or so for any stragglers to finish their sheets. |

I'll get to making sure I have all the playtest stuff set and good to go then. And you're good to set up multiple OOC threads and IC threads as required by the populace. |

I should probably put a link to it in the OP. |

I'll play, though I do wish someone would run a sandbox... I was going to, but I got a lot of obligations going on right now... ~SE++ |

Once I get a sandbox concept together I'll prolly be running one. However, I'd like it to last for a while and I'll be out of the country in April...so... |

For how long? Is it a vacation, something for work, or just running away from the police until the statute of limitations is up? ~SE++ |
