Just looking to see if anyone is interested in an RP heavy combat light D&D game,that takes place in my own setting of Crystalshore viewtopic.php?f=37&t=94
The PCs start out working for Angelic Shadows looking into who burned down a brothel that was ran and owned by the guild and the game will go form there into politics and social status.
Standard starting, as in 4d6 , backstory with why you joined the guild would be nice but not required. No Evil characters.
EDIT: submit characters here and dice rolls for now, once the game starts all dice rolls will take place in the IC thread, also please read up on the setting....

I'd be interested in playing! I'm hoping to join as a player in one 5th edition game. If yours is starting up soon, I'd love to add my name to the roster.
I'll read up on the setting a bit, but I'm a human-fan and would likely play a wizard or sorcerer if you're okay with that. If not, a fighter would be fun too.
I just got the PHB and was looking for a 5th edition game. I'm going to throw my hat into the ring, then look over your setting (that's how it is suppose to be right?). I don't have a concept in mind right now, but I tend to gravitate toward Sorcerers.

Twenty two years ago some human with exotic taste took a romp with a Mare at the The Greedy Horse, a brothel located in the Red Light district of Crystalshore. That Mare was Emmathir's Elven mother, who the human was is lost to time. During the days Emmathir played in the back room with other bastard children sired within the walls of The Greedy Horse.
His earliest years were plagued with disdained from much of the clientele of The Horse and the surrounding community because of his half-breed nature. He learned at a young age to stay out of sight. There were times when he thought about running away like some of his former friends had. When his brother, Goladen another half-elf, was born at age six those thoughts disappeared.
Around the age of seven Kathon Cote(Female Human) , the owner of The Greedy Horse, started to give him errands to run, usually fetching herbs, food, or doctors, paying him a copper piece per errand. While life was not easy, it wasn’t difficult either. Stay out of the way and, get the job done.
It was around the age of fifteen that Emmathir was introduced to Andres Bere(Male Human) a fledgling member of the Angelic Shadows. Andres was a common patron of Emmathir’s mother and took a liking to Emmathir. Andres always referred to Emmathir by the nickname Colt, a name he now uses.
Andres is an intelligent Angelic Shadows agent, he used Colt and a few other children to spy on those traveling or working in the different parts of the Crystalshore. Colt stayed mostly in the trade and civic districts keeping Andres informed about the dealings of city’s major players.
While working for Andres, Colt took instruction, advice, and training from Andres. This started to put a wedge between Colt and Goladen. Goladen grew to be an angry young half-elf. He hated the humans for the way some treated him and never liked Colt and Andres relationship. The two brothers argued constantly. The arguing stopped when Colt came home one night to find Goladen gone. His mother explained that Goladen ran off when he heard that an elven trading barge was in the harbor. This was that last that he heard of his brother.
Two years later, at eighteen, Colt’s mother died. Kathon told him it was a sudden illness that took her. He was not allowed to see her body, the excuse given was something about catching the illness. He doesn’t really remember because at the time his head was spinning. He was never able to learn more, anytime he questioned his mother’s passing the answer was always “an illness”.
He focused now on his friendship with Andres and his new fledgling status with the Angelic Shadows. Andres had moved up and brought Colt into the organization. He’s remained in their employ for the last three years.

For now a lot of stuff is sorta scattered through the dice thread. I need to update the first post when I have time to incorporate some of the newer features we've added recently. Welder does tend to mention new stuff in his Tips and Tricks thread up in the metaboard as well, but right now we both have the bad habit of focusing on working on new stuff instead of updating our old posts.
Updating a lot of things is on my to-do list I assure you, but, if you can keep a secret I've been focusing more on getting built in character sheets for NGA.
