Just as a distant possibility, I figured to ask the question to see general interest in old F&S-style voting games. While they are no longer a staple (since they're not developed for each block any more), there are still users here and there who have tried their hand at ye olde voting game. For those unfamiliar, this is the basic gist: - The setting is usually a canon M:tG plane (may later use M:EM planes) - Factions were presented based on the plane, which players could join - Each player is allowed one move per day, which was a reinforcement (plus life) and an attack (minus life) - Each faction gave players abilities besides their typical move - Life is kept track via a tally copied and adjusted for every move (by the poster who made the move) - Last faction standing wins! Of course, posters were always encouraged to role play, and the state of the game gave players jumping points. So, what are people's thoughts? I know I recognize a few of you from some of the later voting games like GWIII, so maybe you can cover anything I missed? |

These are always nice since they don't really require a terrible amount of commitment to play in. I would participate. |

Apologies; I have just added the [Interest Check] tag to the title. Also, thank you PlaneShaper for your input. I was hoping more pbp-area people would look in on this, like LordM or mill crab, since I know them from the mothership, but I think a good number of us up in the AF&S would still participate regardless. Either way, this is mostly a hypothetical since I no longer have a voting game planned/put together cohesively. |

LM just bowed out of the games he was playing in/running for IRL issues. But, I agree, you'll probably get some decent F&S participation, even if they have to come all the way down here to play |
