The game will be set in the present day. Players will work for The Campus an off the books branch of the government that was created during the founding of the nation as a way to deal with threats that the normal groups (army,police,FBI etc) couldn't deal with. They answer only to the President and Chief of Staff. Those threats range all the way from folks wishing to over throw the government from the inside to dealing with things that go bump in the night. It's a no magic game.

The Campus is situated between the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA). This enables The Campus to remain in the loop about intelligence briefings without the cumbersome organizational bureaucracy or political red tape.

The Campus operates under the cover of Globodyne Consulting , a financial trading institution. Utilizing the intelligence briefings from the CIA and NSA, Globodyne Consulting is able to see currency or market fluctuations ahead of most financial institutions and is able to utilize this information on the financial market. The profits generated from trading on financial institutions are utilized byGlobodyne Consulting to fund the operations of The Campus.
