It's that black hedgehog that shares the all too familiar silhouette of Sonic... he's Shadow the Hedgehog.
Some 50 years ago, this "Ultimate Life Form" was the result of the army's research. With no records of what transpired, his true character is shrouded in darkness and even his own memory cannot serve as a key to unlock the mystery; there is only emptiness...
"Who am I... and why can't I remember anything?"
One day as Shadow sat trying to remember anything, he was suddenly shrouded in darkness. Out of the skies came the black creatures, calling themselves the Mafia. By their sheer numbers and power, they left a path of destruction in their quest to overtake the Town.
As Shadow looked on, the cities were engulfed in fire and explosions as the Mafia tattooed their presence in red... From the ashes arose their Godfather, Black Doom...
"Shadow... As you can see, the day of reckoning will soon be here. Find the SEVEN Chaos Emeralds and bring them to me as promised."
Perplexed by the dark figure who somehow knew him by name, Shadow was left wondering what clues Black Doom holds to his past and what was meant by "the day of reckoing." After a moment of silence, Shadow's puzzled expression quickly changed into that uncanny sneer... as he realized what he must do to uncover his past.
"If he says he knows the truth about who I am... then like it or not, I have to believe him. The only way I'm going to get the secrets to my past is to get those Chaos Emeralds!"
Thus, the adventure of Shadow to uncover the mysteries of his forgotten past unfolds. Once again, the chase for the Chaos Emeralds intertwines with the full cast of Sonic and his friends, including that mad genius, Dr. Eggman.

- Much like the classic Sega title this game is based on, this game will have a branching storyline based on the events of the day, which will determine roles. Every cycle, a set of up to three missions will be presented to the town. One that favors the town, one that favors the mafia, and, depending on the state of the game, one that favors neither. One of those missions must be completed by the end of the day phase. There will be a maximum of five cycles.
- Alongside that, one player will be given the role of Shadow the Hedgehog. This player will be unaligned with any faction, and has the possibility to win with any faction. Alongside that, Shadow will have extra knowledge and secret abilities that will allow him to have an upper hand in choosing his path, though he can't completely control the train. The path this game follows will determine what team Shadow joins at the end of the game.
- After all five day phases have passed, one team will clearly have the advantage, and the Endgame will begin. Whichever team Shadow has not joined will grow massively in power, and the game will enter a Boss Battle. During a boss battle, the game will be in Sudden Death, as a certain objective determined by the boss fight chosen must be completed to win the game.
- There will more than likely be bastard elements in this game, so be warned of that fact.

- Role claims will be unlimited, as will name claims.
- Day Phases will last 48 hours; Night phases will last 24.
- Deku's word is law. Whether or not his statements are in line with the rules of the game or things previously stated, he has the right to change his mind at any time. No if's, and's or but's. That said, any changes will be made clear to those affected.
- Mido might just be the meter maid, but he still speaks for me. Respect him as such.
- Find the computer room
- Any player who plays against their wincon will be modkilled. We have no need for players who want to ignore the game.
- Do not edit or delete your posts.
- No outside communication unless you're allowed to do so by either myself or Mido.
- Three posts will be required per day phase. If a player fails to meet this two day phases in a row without discussion with a mod, they will be replaced or nightkilled.
