So when I made that topic in the Metaboard some time back, we eventually reached the conclusion that normal posting games can go in PbP-active games as well.
Now, I'm not intending on bringing everything I ever made here too, but I was just curious how many people would actually play in something like this:

  • 20 questions.
I think fairly well known to everyone. Someone things of something, other users have 20 questions to find out what the other is thinking off. Yes/no questions only.
I ran a variant on MPFG years ago that also had a score-count to make it a bit more competitive, but added that each post could have a question and a guess to make it a bit easier.
  • RAF (Ready - Aim - Fire)
A game mostly played through PM. After we get some players, everyone PMs the host to decide what they want to do. Shoot a player, Shoot themselves (kill everyone who targets you. You die if no-one targets you), or nothing. After a few rounds we have a winner, or tie and start anew.

These games are of course not really bound by the 1-thread-a-round rule, since they are more smaller scale games. And I was curious if there was any interest in them.

Random forum games can be fun, but really not a fan of Ready - Aim - Fire or any game that relies too heavily on PM's. They tend to time out and people lose a lot of interest if there isn't much going on in an actual thread. Well, YMtC contests / games / whatever was like that.
