Player Registry

The Player Registry is for players seeking campaigns, or to list their past characters, past and current games, and so on. It is also to allow other players and Dungeon / Game Masters to get an idea of what you like to play, your posting rate, as well as your narrative and descriptive style. A player resume, if you will. This will hopefully allow better fits between GM's and players in their games.

Might as well throw in:

Name: squinty_eyes (or just Squinty as many choose to call me)
Ways to Contact: Private Message
Posting Frequency: Daily, though usually offline from 4 pm to 11 pm for work daily.
Type of Campaign: Pathfinder is what I am familiar with, though I'm willing to learn.
Types of Characters: I usually like some kind of mage, though I'm flexible. Alchemists are some of my absolute favorites.
Old Characters: Umm, I dunno where I left them... I think they died with my tablet...
Old Campaigns: Played IRL, so no links right now...
Other Information: Not much to say, I only ever really played under one DM, so I don't know what else is out there. Guess I'm quite the novice, though I don't think I'm a particularly good player...

Does that work?

I haven't played Dungeons and Dragons for a while, though I have always kept in touch creating characters (for fun andor for writing stories). I would love to try this if people are willing to have me.

Name: altimis
Ways to Contact: PM
Posting Frequency: I try to post at least once a day. At worst a few times a week.
Type of Campaign: Anything
Types of Characters: I like awkward characters, I like to think.
Old Characters: Most recently, A psuedo-pacifist Gnome Rogue that grappled the crap out of everybody.
Old Campaigns: Haven't run any campaigns. Just little dungeons here and there. My dad made this killer maze once. Literally, I died inside. Frickin rabid Giant Squirrel.
Other Information: Once again I'll point out, I like awkward characters. Good characters, but awkward.

Posting Frequency: Right now, I seem to live here...
Type of Games You Play: I'd love to play a mafia game or two; I'd also have interest in a 3.5 or Pathfinder game. Other RPGs outside of the D&D area might be considered as well - always looking to try something new.

Posting Frequency: I can probably try to come online for ~10 mins daily, but a better estimate would be once every 2-3 days

Posting Frequency: Daily, with irregular outages of 1-5 days for work.
Type of Campaign: Any campaign type, any system but 4e
Types of Characters: I tend towards Bards and Wizards; preferred Vampire clans are Malkavian, Toreador, and Tremere. I also like divine Paladin and Cleric types secondary.
Old Characters/Campaigns: I haven't played a PnP RPG online in nearly a decade, and the forums I used to go to then are long gone.
Other Information: I play regularly IRL, so there's that.

While I'm not likely to hang out here much, it's possible in the future I might start or join a game.

Name: You can shorthand my username any way you feel, really. It's easiest for me to catch either Luna or 42 (since my name on the mothership was It's_Always_42.
Ways to Contact: PM seems to be connected to my gmail anyway, so that's fine.
Posting Frequency: If I'm posting at all, I'm on every day or two; if not, I can lurk for months at a time.
Type of Games You Play: Freeform Roleplay and some forum-specific games like the Voting games done in old F&S days. It really depends on who else is playing.
Old Games: The only forum games I've really played are a few old F&S voting games like Guildwars and Phyrexia Reborn; I'd link to them, but that would mean having to interact with the new Wizards forums.
Other Information: I've never played D&D, so I'm reluctant because of the high learning curve; and I've never played any Mafia games because I've never been active enough.

Posting Frequency: I'm on the board multiple times a day, more often during the week, and at nights on the weekends
Type of Games You Play: What Games Are You Looking For? I really don't know, not much experience with any...so, I'm rather open
Old Games: Would You Like To Showcase Any Of Your Previous Games? N/A
Other Information: I've never played a PbP game before. It's been over 2 decades since I've played any tabletop RPG, back then, it was only D&D. So, I'm completely new to this, but, it sounds like quite a bit of fun. So, I'd be looking for a casual game, where I can re-learn (or just learn) everything. I've started downloading some of the documents and have been perusing some of the active games to get re-acclimated.

Posting Frequency: too much daily
Type of Campaign: Dungeons and Dragons; usually episodic in an urban setting.
Types of Characters: I tend to play chaotic characters, usually rogues, sorcerers, rangers, or barbarians.
Old Characters: Garrot, a lvl 18 halfling barbarin; Pedron, a human rogue I took through the entire Ravenloft campaign (lvl 17); Kesh, a revenant monk that cut in the resurrection line and stumbled back into the mortal realm 500 years after his death.
Old Campaigns: Ravenloft, Forgotten Realms, a 5-year campaign centered around a Lich that teleported PCs to various destinations to complete numerous tasks while holding something precious of the PC's hostage, and a campaign I DM'd involving teams of characters in a Hunger Games-like setting, attempting to gain a personal reward for beating the other teams while surviving in a hellish metropolis.
Other Information: I'm a writer irl, so I can get pretty creative, and have a tendency to deviate from the standard d20 awards systems you see in books. I'm a little loose with the rules, as I haven't played a whole lot of 4th edition, but I played a huge amount of 3.5 back in the day.

Just looking for a fun time. I'll probably cook up a campaign for the forums soon!

Ways to Contact: PM is preferred
Posting Frequency: Daily is a good commitment, though I'm on a lot right now
Type of Games You Play: D&D (1e, 2e, 3.x)
Other Information: Willing to try other RPGs as long as book ownership is not a prerequisite for playerhood: Call of Cthulhu, Changeling (either version), Blue Rose, Traveller, and Shadowrun are all things that have sounded appealing. New to PbP but not to Roleplaying in general, wanting to get back into the swing of things.
