That's right. I'm doubling down on this GMing thing. We'll see how it goes.
I figure there are a lot of people here who want to play in a Magic: the Gathering setting. It is a MTG/D&D crossover forum, after all. I guess it's time to put that to the test.
The Premise: Present-day Ravnica, with Shadowrun vibes. You'll be playing as a group of troubleshooters for hire, dealing with problems that the guilds can't handle - or black ops they don't want to be associated with. Expect morally gray scenarios and interguild backstabbing, as well as character development and drama within the crew.
The System: Simple D6, a free and extremely rules-light system. Ravnica has a pretty unique setting and cosmology that most stock fantasy games don't cover, and I can't be arsed to homebrew all the possible things you might want to play as. Better to use a system that requires minimal rules knowledge and focuses on the narrative aspect of the game.
Players: I'm interested in having between three and five players. If this ends up being popular, it would be good to have a second GM who can pick up the slack when I'm too burned out to host. As always, I ask that all players be ready to invest the time and commitment to keep up with the thread so the game doesn't get bogged down.
Schedule: I can post more or less daily. I might be unavailable for extended periods of time, but I'll definitely be able to post on weekends. If something changes my circumstances I'll do my best to let you all know.
