For those who signed up without a clue of what they are getting into: Gamma World is a fun game that breeds high randomosity with high lethality in a crazy chaos of a sci-fi post-apocalyptic world where literally anything can happen. You could be born into the game a giant spider with three heads that shoots laser beams out of its eyes and has a fondness for cowboy boots, and within five minutes of starting you could find yourself negotiating a peace treaty between the mutants of the undercity with the giant ants of the overworld, along with your trusty team-mates Big Green Slime Monster, talking rabbit man, mostly human bob, and Yeti. But whoops! Looks like your negotiations are put on hold because an asteroid just crashed into the building you were in! Miraculously you survived only to find out that the asteroid was a disguised spaceship and before you know what hit you, you're fighting for your life against a bunch of off-world perfectly normal humans who travelled through a black hole before the apocalypse and came back to this world that is covered with monsters that they don't recognize as their home. Damn dirty apes. Oh yeah, there's probably apes.
And did I mention you'll probably die on average once per session? It's okay, rolling up a new character takes all of 5 minutes, so don't get too attached, friend.
That's Gamma World.
With that said, I guess I'll be /In.
