oh, I can grab a whole universe that's all ready laid out with technobabble included, it's basically a very very very well thought out version of Sliders however and free for usage. I already got permission to use the setting as an RPG.

oh I'm part of a group on yahoo that was called Alternate History Travel Guides, it's since stopped being a thing, the only things that I get are the monthly FAQ,and some other info. It's been at least 5 to 6 years.

I could do that....do wish that the wiki had a WYSIWYG editor however...but before i dive into adding it to the wiki i'll wait and see if there's enough interest

The wiki has a preview button just like the forums, it's not as instantaneous as, some programming tools, but it works.

How much info are we talking? And about what?

I'm guessing if it were printed out it would be a book or two worth of fluff...I'm guessing you didn't click the link to poke around a bit..it's basically Alternate histories of a number of different Earth's and the whole system instead of using "portals" ala Sliders to travel between the earth's its done via Steam.

So, I've been waiting to see if freeform is something that's gonna creep back up and get dicussed, because I think it could be really fun to have a few threads for different places in a city for people to wander through. Though, it was mentioned that there was an entire subforum for it, which might be necessary. Also, I was wondering about how time works. I mean, is it hard to coordinate time across multiple threads, or is there a thread simply for people to mark what time it now is, or what?
