Could one of them possibly be The Hobgoblin?! Maybe. Only time will tell.

And because I am so happy that we've now reached Page 4 I will now allow people to ask 4 questions instead of 3 in the ongoing 20 questions game! That means that if you have already asked 3 questions, you may now ask one more! Or, if you haven't asked any, you may ask up to 4! But seeing as 15 have already been asked, there are only five questions left available altogether; so choose wisely! If we manage to finish this game of 20 questions before Page 5 rolls around, I'll reveal another two characters who are definitely in the game!

Is the Hobgoblin correlated with one and only one identity?

I have a question about the 20 questions game: How do we know that the answers are 100% the truth if there is not a NLP in effect?
Also where did the Scarlet Spider thing come from? I can't seem to find the "first post" 15337 made claiming that role(which is also confusing since everyone will be 'rolled for roles'(I made that up, it's mine#Roll4Role)).

I think this question should not count to the 20 because it's not really about the game.


Now on to my questions about the game:

1. If Hobgoblin can be anyone, would his/her abilities be added to whatever abilities the character already had? #OPspidergoblin
2. Could a character be released from Jail more than once?
3. Will anyone receive special treatment from you because they're special characters? (i.e: Hobgoblin, JJ, Spidey)
4. Would any role be able to discover/spy upon any private chat-rooms of any other alignments? (perhaps similar to the missing girl from Maximum Carnage)

The notion of Scarlet Spider came about as a result of just general Spider talk with Zinger. While I have not officially been given the role yet, it's a certainty that I will claim the role once the game starts.

And that question is totally about the game.

As for Zinger potentially lying about the game during this 20Q, that's probably why he isn't answering your questions. <_<

Actually, the real reason I haven't answered any recent questions is because I just acquired a PS4 along with Star Wars Battlefront.

I'll answer these questions tomorrow. I have dissident rebels to silence. Permanently.

2. The Hobgoblin is able to interact in the main thread with players.

4. I do believe that 15377 has the potential to be successful despite claiming Scarlet Spider in his first post of the game.

6. There is at least one mechanism that can change either Win Conditions, Alignments, or Personal Motivations of players other than the one causing the change.
7. I do not think it would be better to have Scarlet Spider instead of Spider-Man (or Men).
8. The game features at least one famous Spider-Man villain other than the Goblins.
9. This game does feature one or more characters not normally considered Spider-Man characters.
10. Carnage will, at least in some capacity, be in this game.
11. This game will last fewer months than the previous one.

What a great game this was.

Keep in mind, all answers given were based on the current version of the game (about 85% complete as of right now), so some things may still change between now and the day the game is finally released. However, I can confidently say that most of my answers were about things that will definitely not change.

Now I did say that if we finished the game of 20 questions before page 5 I would reveal the character names of two additional characters found in the game, so, without further ado, here they are:

Could one of them be The Hobgoblin? Well, in the comic books it turned out that Roderick Kingsley was in fact the true original Hobgoblin, so it would not be a far stretch for him to also be The Hobgoblin in this game! But don't bank on it, because he had equal chances of being The Hobgoblin as anyone else did when I rolled dice to discover the true identity.

The plot thickens!

This is exciting. With Lilan's game being currently run, I can now put this game in sign ups! I believe I will open sign ups soon.... probably on like, January 1st or something.

Hobgoblin Lives: A Spider-Man Mafia 2 is a massive game designed for 21 players. It can be run with fewer, if need be, but I'm going to try and get all 21 if I can.

33% of the way there in only 4 hours. This could fill up faster than I thought.

Just to advise you guys, I am away on holidays until January 1st and will not be able to start the game before then (all my stuff is on my PC at home). Hopefully that's not too long a wait for anyone (considering this game has been hyped since the summer, what's one more week).

The real question is: Will Bill Cosby be in this game?

Also, I guess its about time to play another mafia game, hopefully work doesn't keep me too busy .
