I'm pretty sure the first pages sum up some of the stuff. I'm not even sure if I could explain what happened. We got drugged, our warforged got addicted. My arrows turned into snakes. Then, we won a big fight, until a huge dragon came at us, at which point we fled, ran into glowing frogs and elves that didn't like us. You know, standard stuff.

Btw, characters start at level 5, from what I remember.

Have you seen Avatar: The Legend of Korra? The setting is a bit like Republic City there.

Post-colonial city-state based on Hong Kong going through industrialization. Highly diverse population that is also increasingly factionalized. The natives to the region are humans (mainland) and the elves (islands and jungles to the south) and the deposed colonizers are dwarves.

The players are 'fixers', they are an established company that gets hired to solve problems. Alexandros is a tiefling (from the western side of the continent) battlemind; Zau Gwai is a gnoll (from a continent far to the southwest) rogue; and Soon is a human ranger. The players have directly met two of the factions so far: The populist and socialist Tin Ming Movement revolutionaries and the capitalist Hoi Dai Jyut industrialists. They were hired by Hoi Dai Jyut and were able to hold of Tin Ming saboteurs long enough for an unnamed shipment of cargo to be sent off from a secret warehouse.

Did you choose a background? It gives a small mechanical bonus and they can be found in PHB2, PHB3, and many of the Power books.

You have 3 points left in your 22-point buy for your ability scores. You can raise your Charisma to 17 and Constitution to 15 with this, or distribute these points to your other scores. Then, because you hit Level 4, you get to raise two different ability scores by 1.

Remember, Sun Strike is an Implement power, so you can use it without an implement but it won't ever get the effects of your weapons. And if you do become proficient with an implement, it has to be one that invokers use since it is an invoker power.

Am I not seeing your Level 2 Utility power or did you not pick one up?

We are using Inherent Bonuses in this game.

So, you need to add +1 to each of your defenses in the Enh column. Then, all Ardents get +1 to Fort and Will. So your defenses should be AC 16 Fort 16 Ref 14 Will 17.

As you can see, you also get +1 to your attacks, so +6 to basic attacks. It would help if, in the Attack Workspace, you write out the most common static bonuses to your attack. Since you normally attack with a weapon using Cha, that is + 2 (half level) + 3 (ability mod) + 3 (weapon proficiency) + 1 (enhancement) = +9 to most attack rolls.

Yeah, I didn't see you say that you'd like to rejoin. You are free to do so if you'd like.

felbatista, I made a mistake in determining your usual attack bonus to weapon attack powers by adding your half-level twice, so it should be +9 there, not +11. I've edited the post.

How many of those I can/should get? I only found one that fits my character in the books I have - Half-Elf Wanderer, and that should give me +2 on Streetwise checks. Is that correct?

Noted. I was all set when I noted I needed 13 INt for the Linguist feat. Once I changed everything I must have missed some points.

I'm aware of that. It's just that, without magic itens, there was no point in getting proficience with an implement I'm not even sure I'll get.

You only get one background that gives you mechanical benefit.

Your ability scores are still wrong. You either still haven't spent your remaining 3 points out of the 22 point buy and raised your Wisdom and Charisma at Level 4 or you incorrectly spent the 3 points to raise both Wisdom and Charisma from 14 to 15 when it costs 2 points each to do that and did not raise any scores at Level 4.

The rest is fixed.

You told me on the last post I could raise Charisma to 17 and Constitution to 15 with my remaining points, so I did that. Then I raised Wisdom to 15 and Charisma to 18 due to passimg through level 4. What I'm doing wrong?

Yes, I would like to continue with Asmo. The only thing is that my computer broke and I won't have a new one for a while. I ordered one a week ago but it hasn't even left the warehouse yet. Right now I'm borrowing my boss' computer at work just to do this for a little while. But once I have my computer, I'd very much like to reprise my role.

Okay, could I make a new character?

I'm thinking of a Changeling Intelligence-based Slayer Fighter/Swordmage, in order to have plenty of combat and non-combat options. It'd also give the team another striker, which is always useful.

I meant a fighter multiclassing swordmage. Just a question, but why is essentials banned?
