I was thinking Wizard. I could also be talked into Warlord or Rogue.

So has anyone got a guaranteed idea what it is they want to play? Just so I've got some idea on the party composition.

So far I've got Neo as a Barbarian (Striker) and Thaen as a Wizard (Controller).

Hey Squinty any idea what you want to play and I will take the fourth role. If your still looking for a warrior/healing thing you might consider a Paladin. Your healing obviously isn't as good as a straight Cleric but it should prove sufficient - especially since you will be able to take blows and buff people as well.

So, just to confirm, I have Garren, squinty, thaen, and Neosilk for this adventure, with Bounty Hunter as a +1 in games that need a 5th or whatnot? Sounds great! Once I get the character sheets, I'll adjust the encounters, then I'll post in the Active Games section. I'll check daily for updates. Please note:

1. I am trusting the honor system with rolls.
2. If for whatever reason you haven't posted within the 24 hour time period and it's not a weekend, I will assume you have forfeited your turn. If something comes up and you have to disappear but don't want your character to shut down, PM me and I'll auto-pilot the character based on your direction.
3. I need a working character sheet that describes your past, equipment, abilities, etc.

Bounty, I might hit you up to play a villain in future battles. It would be a limited commitment, but it would add a nefarious element to combat, with the players, versus the villain, versus the encounter I've set up. I'll ping you before it happens, but it could be neat!

Any preference on character sheets? I am using Myth Weaver for the other game I'm in but can dig up a standard fillable PDF if your would prefer that.

For the record unless Squinty wants to be a leader I'm thinking Bard of some flavour. Commence the seething hatred!

I'm also tempted to be evil just because it's so rare for a DM to allow it. Even then it would be more 'self-serving jerk-ass' evil rather than 'set puppies on fire for lulz' evil.

Whatever format you have is fine as long as the ability descriptions are there.

You ever see the 4th Ed Planescape material Wizards released a while back? Play as an Eladrin Bard who is a member of the Fated and you get +2 Class Skills of your choice, +1 Trained Class Skill and a +3 bonus to all untrained skills. Now that's a skill monkey.

OK - if someone has a chance, if they could take a quick glance and let me know (this is my 2nd character, so I'm guessing I've got something wrong...)

The one thing that jumps out at me is Fort. In the character builder, it has it listed at 16, but when I put it into MW, it's 14.

You haven't included your +2 bonus to Fortitude saves for being a Barbarian. Going over the rest now.

Edit: I'm having a lot of trouble finding some of your abilities - Arid Desert springs to mind. I can't seem to find that anywhere. In fact I can't seem to find any of your class abilities. Or indeed any of the class abilities I'm looking at right now.

I don't see anything else, save that you could include a more detailed description, or a link to something that looks like him. Like, what is he wearing, where is he from, why does he like sushi, etc.

Oh - I'll get to that as well as the background - just going over the needed stuff now.

@Garren - I got it all using the 4e builder from the WotC site..I used DS's account (I think you have that as well). I assumed it was all "normal" but, as you know, I have no idea.

I can't find 'Two-Handed Weapon Expertise' anywhere. I assume with a Great Sword you actually want '2HW Expertise - Heavy Blade'

You gain a +2 bonus to Endurance and Intimidate skills for being a Half-Orc

A few other little things stick out but most seem to come from your Class skills being entirely new to me.

Edit: Neo have you by chance built a D&D Essentials character? I remember you did this when first building Soon and it led to some confusion.

If that is what you have done may I make a recommendation? Your powers and abilities really like Constitution as your second highest attribute - it gives a lot of your powers a little extra umph. However it does mean your Reflex saves and Initiative will take a hit. Effectively you would trade a little versatility for better combat efficiency. Your choice.

It's true. Barbarians take a lot of damage, so I thought it was odd your Con was so low. However, I have seen some builds utilize dexterity to avoid being hit in the first place. You could also get some armor on 'im, ya?

Hey Rstnme does the mercenary company we are with have a name? Or at least the name of the commanding officer? Just since it will inevitably come up.

Edit: Right I'm off to work. I'll think up and fluff out the background while I'm there and get the character sheet done and uploaded when I return. I'm probably going to be a LE Tiefling Bard.

A Note of LE: I'm not going to kick puppies - I'm still Lawful after all. Think of my evil as ruthless dedication; I will get the job done regardless of the cost. Why? Because completing jobs successfully advanced my position in the company and I *want* a position of command. I *deserve* to command and I will do anything to see that realized.

Also sorry Squinty old bean I know I said I was going to wait for you to decide on a class first and then fill out the remaining role but I really love the idea of playing a Bard so I'm going to do that.
