So we all know about how I can totally commit to hosting things (Although GW is awesome enough that that might not be a problem :P), mostly just wondering if anybody would be interested in doing a 4e Gamma World game (Probably just try running the campaign from the rulebooks and see how that goes).

I might be interested. Not sure what my time table is going to look like in the next few months, but Gamma World intrigues me.

I do not know Gamma World, but I am interested in something other than D&D. Now without knowing the system or seeing the rules, I cannot really say if I am interested or not.

Where do I find about it? What edition do you plan to use?

Well, I mean, it basically uses D&D 4e rules, except post-apocalyptic and everyone's a mutant and it's awesome. Not sure where you'd find out stuff, it should be on WotC's site somewhere, I'll see if I can navigate that labyrinth later. Also I guess http://dnd4.wikia.com/wiki/Gamma_World

I read that it has simplified rules from D&D 4th edition, which is fine by me. Specially since it has a different setting.

I know D&D 4th edition, but I don't have any resource.

If that is ok?

I might be interested. Never played Gamma World before, but from what I've heard it's really simple character creation, which is a plus.

For those who signed up without a clue of what they are getting into: Gamma World is a fun game that breeds high randomosity with high lethality in a crazy chaos of a sci-fi post-apocalyptic world where literally anything can happen. You could be born into the game a giant spider with three heads that shoots laser beams out of its eyes and has a fondness for cowboy boots, and within five minutes of starting you could find yourself negotiating a peace treaty between the mutants of the undercity with the giant ants of the overworld, along with your trusty team-mates Big Green Slime Monster, talking rabbit man, mostly human bob, and Yeti. But whoops! Looks like your negotiations are put on hold because an asteroid just crashed into the building you were in! Miraculously you survived only to find out that the asteroid was a disguised spaceship and before you know what hit you, you're fighting for your life against a bunch of off-world perfectly normal humans who travelled through a black hole before the apocalypse and came back to this world that is covered with monsters that they don't recognize as their home. Damn dirty apes. Oh yeah, there's probably apes.

And did I mention you'll probably die on average once per session? It's okay, rolling up a new character takes all of 5 minutes, so don't get too attached, friend.

That's Gamma World.

With that said, I guess I'll be /In. :P

This sounds like quite a bit of fun, like D&D+Warhammer 40k+Smash-Up. Count me in, if you'll have me!
