I'm actually a bit ashamed I haven't posted this sooner... Necormancer Games re-animates to delve into 5th edition! It's funded. So if you jump in, you get the stuff when it publishes. As of now, there's 5 days left. Lots of stretch goals have been reached, and a lot more are sitting there waiting to be unlocked. There's an "all-star" cast working on these products. Steve Winter is leading the project, and doing writing on various pieces is also Bill Webb, Matt Finch, Ed Greenwood, James Ward, Greg Vaughan, and more. If you head to the "Updates" tab of the project, you can download samples from the books and listen to interviews with various members of the project. The project entails three books, all pretty beefy. Book #1: 5th Edition Foes. A big, juicy monster book. It currently sits at 220 monsters. The next stretch goal - less than $2,000 away - adds 5 more. Book #2: Quests of Doom. A big, juicy adventure book. This one currently sits at 12 adventures, with upcoming stretch goals adding more. Book #3: Book of Lost Spells. A big, juicy spell book. It's estimated currently to be 250 pages. Various pledge levels and add-ons will get you pretty much whatever you want out of these books. There's lots of good stuff in here from some damn good designers. |
