Hello everyone,

I'm Yxoque, current leader of the Expanded Multiverse.

Currently, there's a thread going on about the mission statement of these forums. We of the Expanded Multiverse are trying to push for it to be about creativeness. To be about making these boards a place where creative people can come together and work within established works. Somewhere where people can expand on the works of Wizards of the Coast (that is our current scope, maybe it expands to other works later).

Why do I come to you?

Because honestly, none of us are very involved in Dungeons and Dragons. But Dungeons and Dragons is a creative experience by its very nature. The D&D community is, by necessity, a creative community. To thrive, it needs people who dare to create. Creating a world, a story, a character, a monster... are all part of the core roleplaying experience. And what's more, roleplaying is relatively unique in that all those things are created by collaboration. Stories are shaped by all players, as well as the DM.

And that's why I come to you. Because like us, you are a community of creators. Help us shape the future of these boards and let your voice be heard.
