Both kedamono and Mr. Voss have responded, Mr. Voss was asking about what I plan to do with some of his items, and he also stated that



I told him that the plan is to host the information and see about a PbP game that is free form.

Could PM him on the alternatehistory site.

I see Voss wrote Marketplace so if thats open to use it'd be a good area to start work on until more of the others are contacted.

It didn't look he has that option available for use, John ( kedamono ) also did ITA prime,so we can grab that one and post it as well

The start of literally ever story begins with a copyright statement for to the author.

The main page of the site has a blanket copyright and intellectual property statement speaking for everything on the site.

The ministry names being too long are making things a pain.

If you want help, just let me know what needs formatting / uploading and I'll do my best. Right now, I'm just not sure what the structure you're going for is.

I wont really have much of a structure until I know what can and cant be used. For now 80% of my work has been fixing bad formatting, typos, and horrible grammar then putting stuff in place to reference later.

At some point after Voss either says yes or no to using Rattus prime, it's either going to come down to treating it as an orphan work and making sure the credit is given or just giving up on the whole project.

So what are you plans as far as PBP goes for this stuff. For the most part its fan fiction so quite a lot would still need to be done.

If it gets to that point, I was thinking freeform

Freeform would best suit the theme me-thinks.

Freeform over an entirely rebuilt Earth? That would require a lot of threads to keep track of it.

Alternate earth is the campaign setting.

A game could very much be localized to a city or a few cities that matter. And then as required work in a venture through the conduit if you wanted.

Oh, I thought they were settings for the entire world, and travel would be.... easier.

Even is a whole setting is laid out the game doesnt have to cover it.

But with freeform, people are going to wander a lot.

So be it then, thats part of what freeform is about.... being free of form in both rules and not having a DM to confine the story. If a character wants to hop on a plane and go to Paris ... good for them... but as a player they should realize that if everyones playing characters in New York and they catch said plane that people arent going to be in Paris to RP with them. Some games will have players who take advantage of the situation and build another character in Paris to play along with the events there but if not, and things are slow in Paris, that person can always hop a plane back to where the action is.

Sometimes you have to let people explore and make their own stories and mistakes rather than trying to box them in with invisible lines on the map or trying to enforce what you see as a good character.
