Ah ha! Now it makes more sense! Thanks for that DS.

I don't mind the reduction of skills except for the Knowledge skills. I think it was a lot better having characters that specifically knew about different aspects of life rather that a couple very broad ones.

I like how far Star Wars Saga edition went in reducing the skills list, this one feels like it went too far

I'm not familiar with the Star Wars Saga system. I think I briefly played once, but it was just for a few hours and a buddy of mine helped me build the character. I really don't remember it very well.

I should run a Star Wars game.

Of course ...I want to run a small game of Next at some point too ...or at least play in one. Mines of Madness made me sad.

The main problem I have with Star Wars ends up with the fact that using any force power against a living target makes you gain darkside points automatically. It's just an obnoxious workaround.

I am confused. Is gaining dark side points a thing that you *don't* want to be doing? Seriously go re-watch the movies. The villains are clearly having more fun then the heroes. You get lighting bolts and can choke people from across the room and things - dark side is awesome.

Yeah, but we already have two evil campaigns going, Garren. Yours and apparently mine.

Yup, players deciding to attack random dwarves and bartenders is totally my fault.

I have attacked exactly zero people, and my reward was death.

Its not my fault you punish the good RP and allow the 'evil' and 'wanton destruction' to continue. :V

She also is way blurrier and less awesome than the background behind her.

i like the idea of really imposing dwarven architecture which is kind of less impressive to the taller races but i guess dwarves are only a foot~ shorter than average humans

I love dwarf architecture and cities in just about any game. I built an entire dwarf city-state based on it for a game... most games tend to be in human cities.

The height of the architecture isn't what's usually impressive about Dwarven structures, it's the insane precision about it.
