Okay so who has a pc controller and would like to enter a smash bros tournament and can run an n64 emulator?

Same question for those who don't have such a controller.

Same question for melee and brawl.

Annnnd same question for October when the new game comes out on 3ds

Edit: this is meant to be casual and fun, if we have a good amount of people with and without controllers we will seperate it into two divisions.

I mean, I have an Xbox controller that might work, but I wouldn't really want to run N64. Game is super unbalanced.

I've heard good things about the Project M Smash. Brawl is also not too bad, but Melee is the best for a tournament.

And Smash is the only reason I want a Wii U right now.

The point is unbalance. If you're actually looking up who is good and playing well then you're doing it wrong. This should be silly and horrible and bad!

You and I obviously had different experiences with Smash bros.

me and my friends replayed Smash on the N64 a few months after Melee came out. Our reaction times and all the chaos going on made us freeze the game. Twice.

Which are both awesome by the way.

But you forgot Pathfinder and Mafia ;)

@BH, you forgot Killzone, Dark Souls, oh and other video games that don't require me to download an unlicensed copy of something that can only be played on an emulator when my friends are perfectly willing to set up a Wii and play brawl or melee anytime.

I don't believe setting up your wii and playing with your friends and playing online with a bunch of forum goers you dont know are two different ballparks. Hence the need for the methods Lily was suggesting.

But if its just passive aggressive complaining that someone out there is downloading stuff...well...

The problem is some people don't have friends, and I consider most people here a friend. With the recent kill of ds and Wii WiFi I kinda miss some old games so...

Aye, I dont have many friends to game with these days, even less so since I stopped playing MMOs.

I just currently cant participate in this sort of thing regardless of how much I may want to.

If I'd ever gotten around to buying a 3ds for pokemans I'd definitely be getting smash.

But alas, I never played X or Y.

It would be like 200$ total for that and the game. Wii u is more D:

The WII U has a lot more games on it though that I would want. Like...... not enough to actually have me go get one but more. And I can plug it into my tv, assuming I ever go get one, with negligible extraneous effort or other outside purchases. And frankly? If SS don't end up on the WII U eventually they f'd up anyway.

I'm probably going to just buy a gamecube soon. I still have Melee and Strikers and Party for GC.

But Monster Hunter for Wii U is super tempting. Then again, it's on 3ds too.
