Way back in 2000, Rare followed up Goldeneye 64 with Perfect Dark which used the same a bit modified engine. It was widely popular for the most part, then in 2010 it was released on the 360 in the Xbox live arcade. This update gave it updated graphics and eight player online mulitplayer.

So,I loved playing Goldeneye 64 and so I naturally loved Perfect dark, it was fun and the guns which all have two modes where also fun. One of the guns named the laptop gun had as a mode a sentry mode. Meaning that you could toss it some where and it would shoot any enemies that came by for you, with out you being there. Another gun called the far sight had a mode that would you see targets ll the way through the map and shoot them.

And since this was a Spiritual Successor to the FPS classic Goldeneye, it even had some of the levels and guns from that game, which added to the fun. It also had some of the same cheat codes.

The added online Mulitplayer is a nice addition and since a port of the original Goldeneye was never released this game comes to the closet we'll ever see of that same game style.

And so to sum my thoughts as a fan of the original I loved the fact that game was brought back and I still love to play it form time to time.
