I just got into this game by picking up the Spring 1942 Second Edition and I really enjoy it. Does anyone else play that can give me a few tips or point me in the direction of some? The game is pretty overwhelming at first.

I'll have to think long and hard about that one. I don't think I've played that game since the late 80's.

"shuck shuck strategy" for Allies and Aggro for Axis. Haven't played in years, but glad you picked it up Hakeem it is a blast if you have several hours and someone patient enough to put in the time.

Whoa necro. I did pick it up and my buddies and I played it a few times over some beers and it was fun. Most of my friends are into more casual games, though, so it didn't enter the regular rotation.

I'll have to convince my brother to play a game soon, you've given me the itch.

Printing rules clarifications that you can find on the inter webs really helps with solving some potentially heated arguments is a super good idea too. Just from experience.
