I am good enough at Blackjack to reliably come out with a profit.

i have a chart somewhere i saved where it tells you the proper move for every possible hand.

i wonder if you followed it exactly if you would consistently win.

As the oldest of 4 kids, we played a ton of card games in the past.
With only an age difference of 5 years between the youngest and oldest we played almost every card game imaginable.

Heck, the entire family up until my grandparents loves card games. They still occasionally come together to play with money against each other.

I'm not bad at Texas Hold 'Em. Never taken a tournament, but I typically come out a little ahead or break even at the $1/$2 tables.

Played 5 card, 7 card, Blackjack, Hold'em. Never played any of them for money, but I still do some Hold'em online every now & then.

Bridge is probably the richest, and most challenging card game I've ever played, but I found it somehow stressful, so I don't really enjoy it.
I always lose at poker, so I find it is an excellent good will builder, as long as we're playing for change.
Hearts and Spades are usually the games of choice for me. Simple, but enough strategy to keep you invested. Plus almost everyone knows how to play hearts.

What I need though are some good two player games. I'm tired of speed and two-person spades, and that's all I know.

I used to make a living playing online poker back when PartyPoker was still a thing, but I got so damn bored with it. I didn't have much of a bankroll anyway, so it was hard to maintain good enough winnings given the amount of time I wanted to dedicate.
