I never could get into it for the same reason I never could get into most of these new online card games: they are basically Hearthstone (or Magic, in Eternal's case) with a tweak or two. I remember Duelyst also doing something with a board, which was at first interesting, but that game eventually reached a point where board positioning didn't matter all that much because you could just deal with things beyond your reach with removal spells or so.
Plant vs Zombie Heroes is a greatly improved HS (imo). give that a try if you do want to play a digital card game.
I like that it prints a new card every week to keep Help the weaker heroes. Meta is not shifting crazy every week but still interesting small things to do, decks to tweak.
even with its starter card pool i had a lot of fun. I think a lot of its merits is attributed to the actual design of its cards, which I find to have some parallelism to MtG. In that context, HS's card design in a vacuum, (not even getting to the mechanics of the game) is absolute garbage and like a collection of what Maro wouldn't do.
I've got to be honest, I don't know which game you're talking about here because there are four mentioned and one specifically by you.
I unfortunately haven't been able to play Faeria lately because of a change in living arrangement which has caused a great lack of reliable internet. I did finally clear all the single-player challenges, though, and I was under the impression that more were coming, so I'm eager for those. Also I don't think I ever mentioned, but I love their Arena model. Unlike in Hearthstone, where I had to make the choice of either save up gold (which was honestly hard for me to get) to go to the fun Arena mode, or use it for like 2 and a half packs; whereas Faeria gives you a free "practice" run every day even if the prize is just one-third of a real run, and I consider that laudable.
