Kind of rude to claim that Amplitude have only ever had one idea, isn't it? |

"endless legend was almost a good game" IMHO, it was damn good. CIV 6 tech tree fails logic/consistency test brutally. YOU CAN DISCOVER RADIO WITHOUT ELECTRICITY, OR SCIENTIFIC THEORY WITHOUT BASIC ENGINEERING. (in fact teches that lead to the Theory IRL did little to advance it, and mechanical physics did most .) |

Well scientific theory could easily come before engineering and radio could accidentwlly be discovered before you understand electricity. |

"Well scientific theory could easily come before engineering" Well, no. We are talking not about engineering as calculation, material science, blueprints etc, no. In CIV 6 you can discover scientific theory without advacing futher then WHEELS. Wooden wheels. Scientific METHOD can be, tho. "Radio could accidentwlly be discovered before you understand electricity." NO. NO WAY. Radio is a VERY complicated technology that relies on technical aspects of electromagnetism. You can't do it accidently, and even if you can, you can't replicate. Moreover, the whole "telegraph" step was skipped. |

I don't know how I keep convincing myself I like civ games when I demonstrably don't. |
