I've been playing this for the past 3 or 4 days, and I'm in love. I'm missing direct player to player battles and trading, but other than that the app is pretty great. I hope you all correctly chose Team Valor and Bulbasaur. Anyone else getting into this? |

I can't wait for this to be the first video game banned from public places. Edit: Family-friendly video-game. |

^ Captain negative is here to be negative! I mean those aren't really 'Darwinism'. 2 of 4 articles linked have no negative consequences at all, and amount to public services being dialled into new trends and stating the obvious, the third is a human interest story. The 4th may as well be literally anything on your phone, as its people glued to their screens not paying attention and getting some mild mishaps. I went to install go, but the phone I'm actually using doesn't support it. Maybe if I ever get around to migrating to one of my 2 brand new unopened phones, I will definitely try it out. But moving everything across is sooooooooo much effffffffffort :c |

I mean, I live in GA. I know heat. I've been very much enjoying this, mostly because it gets me to go outside, when I generally don't unless something or someone gives me a reason to (sadly) and then I end up enjoying myself. |

I apparently need an internet connection for this, which is pretty discouraging. |

Going outside makes no sense to me. |

I don't understand the hype for this game. I mean, I've been seeing Pokemon everywhere I go outside for years. |

I don't know if I could realistically find 6 Pokémon in Kanto I genuinely like. Is evolving your Pokémon objectively superior? Otherwise, I could run with Kadabra and the likes. |

not objectively superior but you get 1) a big CP boost and 2) the trainer experience from evolving |

This game is secretly kind of naff. There I said it. |

Naff = British for 'not so good' |

Eh, it's not terrible. The game definitely doesn't explain itself very well, and seems to really be rewarding early adopters, but my area has been crawling with so many people out and about and having fun catching pokemon. I've never seen so many groups of people out exploring the city before, and it will only get more ridiculous when the colleges start up again and we get an influx of hundreds more young addicted trainers roaming the around, far away from their traditional home location, looking for more exotic pokemon. I've met and talked with more new people in the last week than I think I have in years. |

Whereas if you live in a rural area like me, it's really lame! |

The two rural towns (like 10-20 houses tops) by me aren't as bad off. I noticed that they at least had a gym and one or two poke-stops. But yeah, I have heard that there was a lot of nothing for people in rural areas to do without heading into their closest city. |

Hatched a Porygon from an egg today. Despite the biological questions it raises, I was pleased. |
