The sale in the Fall is usually an Indie based sale, I think. So, I'm looking forward to it.

I've been keeping an eye on them, got a couple small items here and there.

So anyone playing anything interesting lately? Doesn't have to be on Steam just figured this was the best thread for this sort of thing.

Having had a decent discussion about it with some friends of mine I've decided to play through 'Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines' again - though I'll be throwing most of the cut content mods at it to help freshen it up a little. It's a suprisingly fun game if a little buggy at times (but hey that's what mods are for).

Ooh Masquerade has mods? I will have to look into that... as soon as Minecraft lets go of me.

Yeah it has some quite good ones form what I hear. Best place to start is just to grab Wesp's 9.1 Unofficial Patch. Fixes most of the bugs and restores a ton of the cut content.

Dark Souls 2 on PS3 -

Right now I'm seriously messing around with bonfire ascetics. I'm trying to get all the mostly exclusive loot before actually moving on to NG+, and I'm trying to use some of the bosses to level up. All of which means that I've learned a few things:

1. People have a tendency to freak the **** out when they realize the difficulty is on NG + 7. This is understandable. However, most people can still actually take it as well.
2. After the initial NG + 1, the increase in difficulty each time is somewhat negligible.
3. It's depressing when 1200 damage to a boss is only 1/25th of it's health.

Also messing around with boss weapons. Did you know that the Dark Crypt Black Sword + 5 can be swung 4 times at 20 in the relevant stat for stamina and one handing at 40 strength if you are wearing the Third Dragon Ring, AND that this does 800 damage base per hit? It's fun. Oh and the smelter demon sword breaks after you do it six times, but it has a special attack that spawns A LOT OF FIRE all over the freaking area of impact. Scared the **** out of one of my friends with that. Oh and one of the swords I forget the name of has a freaking wind gale attack. Because that's totally epic as well.

Oh and the 1st and 2nd dlc are kicking my ***. Hope to get the 3rd after I eventually beat them.

Hearthstone - I'm missing only 13 of the worst legendaries and sitting on 3300 dust. I quite enjoy it.

Hatsune Miku Project Diva F and Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd - Because Negaposi Continues and a few others on Extreme is a good strength building exercise. And I really like the music.

I'm serious. Over 150 hours in the first one easy and the second is approaching 80 real fast.

Hoard - The dumbest most addicting minimalist thing I've ever gotten for free.

Sonic Adventure 2 - Because this game is still one of the best of all time.

Spyro the Dragon - DITTO.

Crash Bandicoot 3 - DITTO.

Shadow of the Colossus - Because I will eventually beat this.

Final Fantasy 13 - Because I will eventually beat this as well.

Man I love that game. Probably one of my all time favourites. You started it at all or is it on the bucket list?

Some games just aren't worth it man. The ending is in no way satisfying and at no point do Hope, Snow and Vanille get ran over by a steamroller. It's no wonder they made like a dozen sequels trying to get people to forget this thing happened.

Shadow of the Colossus - I've beaten 1 boss.

However I am also trying to stay current with Dark Souls 2, Hearthstone, and anime. As well as hang out with friends every so often.

BTW - collecting all cards in Hearthstone is a LOT of time and effort. I'm only missing 29 rares, 38 epics, and 13 legendaries, but I'm still 38900 dust away and only have 3235 dust towards that right now.

And I know it's sad but I have a life outside of my hobbies that has the nerve to demand I only do stuff I like a few hours a day.

Oh and I think I'm still trying to run a thread over in the off topic room. :) Shameless plug go read it. It's a personal goal of mine to get at least one person to read the op before Christmas time comes around.

:( All this means that I haven't booted Shadow of the Colossus up in ..... what's "a long time ^ sqrt(3)"?

It is a personal mission of mine to eventually beat FF 13 (I'm literally on the level just before Gran Pulse so come on..... I have to get at least something out of this) and then go on and beat FF 13-2. This will most likely happen somewhere between when I am at the age of 40 (a long time from now) and never, but one must have some sort of goal.

I might get No More Room in Hell, since it's free. But it seems to just be free in general, and I steer clear of those normally.

I thought No More Room in Hell was a mod of another game, and that's why they couldn't sell it.

Looks like Steam is at it again, they're doing something called The Steam Exploration Sale. Loads of stuff on sale until Dec 2nd at 10 am PST.

So there's a general exploration theme to the sale? That's what impression I get from the featured deals.
Think I'll pick up I Have No Mouth and Must Scream, but I haven't seen any other deals I want to jump on.

Personally, I prefer to await the bigger holiday sale. These little ones aren't bad or anything, but it always seem like the best deals overall come during the big sales.

Also, my most played game at 1034 hours would be Crusader Kings 2.

Man, I dunno if I have any game over 1,000 hours besides possibly WoW, but I haven't played that in years....
