Just finished my first playthrough of Dishonored, not too shabby. Snagged quite a bit of stuff through on the first playthrough, next go around will be the run and gun kill everything run. And then finally will go for 'Clean'.

Also, I'm up to 35% Steam achievements now. It takes roughly 15 achievements per 1% currently.

Go to bed Squinty! You're delirious!

Hmmmm , which game to play next until I get in the mood to 100% Dishonored.

Maybe Limbo or the Walking Dead. I should play Binding of Isaac at some point too.

Yes, yes you should.
Not if you want to make progress on your achievements though.

^^ Achievements are overrated. You should not ignore a good game just because of it's lack of achievements, and some games you really like still aren't worth the effort to 100 %.

I play what games I want, and then get the achievements I want in them. You wont find me chasing down multiplayer Tomb Raider achievements and the like. But some of the super hard achievements are quite fun and challenging to shoot for. Like "Clean" in Dishonored.... or whatever the similar one is in mirrors edge.

That's a good attitude.

My motto is that as soon as "grinding" or "boosting" enters the equation, it starts to become not worth it. If it's for more than an hour.......... you really need to like the game.

I actually got the story related achievements in mirrors edge. The trophies too. At some point I should probably go back and do the time trial stuff.....
That's why I never 100 percented either version, although I've played through it 4 times.

Mirror's Edge doesn't have any achievements.

It's currently at 50% off, and I say you should forgo it. I mean, it has no achievements on Steam...

Got Stanley Parable for my brother. Can't foresee that I will care about anything else, unless Starbound goes on sale, which I presume it won't.

True words, true words. And don't forget, this is a long sale. Goes from today until Jan 3rd, so you have plenty of time to wait for the right sales.

About the Game

The Stanley Parable is a first person exploration game. You will play as Stanley, and you will not play as Stanley. You will follow a story, you will not follow a story. You will have a choice, you will have no choice. The game will end, the game will never end. Contradiction follows contradiction, the rules of how games should work are broken, then broken again. This world was not made for you to understand.

But as you explore, slowly, meaning begins to arise, the paradoxes might start to make sense, perhaps you are powerful after all. The game is not here to fight you; it is inviting you to dance.

Based on the award-winning 2011 Source mod of the same name, The Stanley Parable returns with new content, new ideas, a fresh coat of visual paint, and the stunning voicework of Kevan Brighting. For a more complete and in-depth understanding of what The Stanley Parable is, please try out the free demo.

Stanley's Parable seems...interesting. But definately something to snag on a bigger sale.

I'm wondering how Madness Returns is still 20 bucks. But I did buy Mirror's Edge on the last flash sale, further adding to my "games I have on xbox, but dont play xbox anymore" pile.

You've got two hours to vote still. Dont forget to vote.
