The damage boost is supposed to be fairly small, like 1 damage or something. But yeah I was worried it would be pretty strong when I first saw it. Still, you've always been rewarded more for killing players than pushing and etc.

Holy hell. I just discovered Admiral Swiggin's bot. Who decided to code frame-perfect for Swiggins and then forget to make both Derpl and Scoop climb up stairs?

At least Skree is only annoying because the bot plays the control game well...

Originally there were only like 4 AIs, then they released an ai editor thing and tons of fans made things leagues better than what they had, as well as ais for classes that they never got around to programming, so they started using them. I can't remember if they have any voltar bot yet, hmm. Anyway some bots get stuck on stairs sometimes.

Yeah I know that's how I got an achievement (win a game in under 10 mins). I went back and looked at the replay and found a Sentry that didn't leave the home base until like 2 minutes before the game ended.

I did see (probably in the Awesomenauts forums somewhere) that you can add in/swap out AIs fairly easily, and considering that the actual pool of AIs vs. the total characters is pretty low, I've been thinking of finding a few AIs (even just the sample ones that come with the game) and adding them to the pool.

Also, is it just me, or are there some characters that are never chosen with the random button?

I think I didn't make my point clear that most of the ais in game now were made by fans and junk as far as I remember.

No, I got that. I just went on a bit of a tangent.

The points I was trying to make:
  • Yeah I know bots get stuck on stairs.
  • I've been wanting to swap out bot AIs and/or add more bot AIs to the pool.
  • I think the Random choice doesn't work correctly.

So, the 2.13 update hit with large graphical UI changes and an entire leveling system implemented. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, because a)I'm still only playing with bots, and b)I've gotten decently good at Clunk so that I'm consistently winning against lvl. 4 bots. It still sucks when you're trying to learn a character, though.

I got to try out some local multiplayer last week, though, so that was fun, if a little cramped.
