Hopefully this is the right place to post this. As I near completion of my magic set, I am reminded of a thought I had when first starting out. My set is supposed to be inspired a lot by Chinese fairy tales and various legends, so I thought it would be very neat to have multiple people righting short stories in the setting that I could post alongside card reveals, or to even design cards specifically for those stories. I actually have a story and mechanics plotted out for three sets in a block already, but a lot of it I think is still actually in my head. I do have about 20 pages of notes though so I can easily help out whoever wants to actually do this with me.

So I guess the question is, would anyone like to actually do this? Short story, poem, paragraph, sentence for flavor text. It's all good to me.

I'm usually good for a poem, if you need one, although I do write almost solely in strict form poetry. Still, if that's something you're interested in, just let me know what sort of thing you're looking for, and I'll see if I can come up with anything. For something longer than a poem, though, I probably won't be able to help for at least another month or so. My schedule is a bit full for the next little while.

I am not sure I need anything in particular. I think I am more looking for people that want to look at my setting and then get inspired to write stuff.

I mean, this is the right place, but it's up to the people who read this whether they have the interest and, more importantly, time to dedicate to it.

Me, I'd probably be up for some blurbs and short things if the setting ends up capturing my attention, though from there it depends on what time I can find to give to it.

A link would be nice if parts of this project already exist, though.

This could be a good way to get back into writing. Maybe show me something you want a little story for and I could do a short one. My actual plans for MEM stuff are kind of huge and super involved, so a few paragraphs on a particular card could be a good way to get a toe in the water.

Cool, I'll get the parts together and try and make something coherent. Also it's probably a good time to start naming tribes and things.

Yeah it'd be a lot easier to answer this if we had a sense of the actual setting and whether or not it would actually be a good fit for M:EM

:P oh.

Well I mean I think you know what my priorities are, but yeah I dunno dropping in information here seems totally reasonable. It's not like we run a really strictly delineated show here.
