I guess I'll make a thread for Molcru and Fala. Here's some prepatory sketches for The Climb: Feedback is very welcome! I personally feel like the proportions on the first sketch are better.

Looking good so far. I do think the size difference between them in this picture is closer to what I had imagined, rather than Fala being small enough to sit in his hand. I don't think I've read the particular story this illustrates, though. |

lol I think I will conclude my study of these characters with this color study... Thanks Beast'! uh.. sorry the ooze on the cliff isn't better;) I can see a few areas where the light is off- could be brighter on the coat and should have dragged a head shadow;) oh yeah and i see that Molcru isn't reflecting the cliff... aha! his side of face needs more reflective light! o crap.... i've gone mad. O
