Technically that's a bit of a misnomer because I've HAD some of these ideas for a while, but it's been a frustrating few months and I've felt creatively drowned. My ideas had exceeded by ability to produce, which is tantamount to struggling only to sink deeper in. I feel like I'm finally treading water though and I can start looking around at all the water that seeped in while I had my production cramp... I think this metaphor has kind of gotten away from me here.

Long story short, I think I want to take a stab at producing some more content, but I'm torn on what exactly to focus on. So, it seems fair to remove the decision from my hands entirely and see what everyone else thinks. So behold the poll!

Each of the above ideas are some that I've had floating around and they vary in length and detail. Further details about the options as follows:
  • Three Dreams: A three part serial following Saigo on Theros. The exact nature of which yet to be determined. Likely wordcount approximately 3000-5000 words each
  • Tryst x Kashius: A tale delving into the near distant past outlining the dangerous encounter between these two diabolic walkers. Likely wordcount approximately 2500-4000
  • Aerik x Morgezka: The steaming clash of two who have nothing to lose. Likely wordcount approximately 3000-4000
  • Alessa x Nasperge: A tale following in the wake of the tragedies on Alliavelli and how two who shaped that conflict reunite for a new purpose. Likely wordcount approximately 15000-25000
  • Other:.... well come on, this was your option, you make a bloody suggestion then.

I like the Alessa-Nasperge idea, because it continues one of our current unresolved storylines and features two of our most underused characters. I think going deep on a few storylines has more satisfying emotional payoffs than going wide.

I voted Aerik x Morgezka. I want to see Aerik in action, and I want to know what Morgezka is up to.

I voted "other," not because I dislike the idea of any of those options (two of them have my characters, after all, and I love when people write my characters!) but rather because, honestly, I'd love to see something new about Zhiran. "Loss" is one of my favorites in the Archive, and it would be cool to see more of the Archmage.

Taking a moment to respond to this, in part to bump it up to the top, but also because I feel like I actually do have something in the pocket for this.
In fact, it's about a third written right now, but there's still about 2/3rds of it that will require some rather in depth research into established expanded canon so that I can frame it all properly.
As much as I would like it to follow in Loss's footsteps, I'm afraid it'll probably come out closer to the Shadows end of the spectrum, though it won't completely disregard some notes from Loss.

Well, I seem to recall enjoying "Shadows," too, although it's been longer since I've read that one.
