My cat got out a few days ago and trying to get her back in has been... Unsuccessful and frustrating. She simultaneously clearly wants help, but absolutely refuses to let us help her or catch her.
We had to try to pry her out of a WALL tonight and she still slipped away.

Oof, it sucks to hear that. Hope the situation ends well soon for everybody involved, poor kitty.

Well, looks like I'm in the market for a new kitten.
As much as I feel guilty, I have to be realistic. I'll keep putting food out, if it gets eaten, but otherwise, I haven't seen the cat for a few days now and other than that, I don't see any way to try to track her down. Honestly, at this point, I'm worried about cleaning out the garage one day and finding a mummified cat.
I wish there was more that I could do, and I hate the thought of the cat wasting away, but what else can I do?

In cheerier news, I finished my king piece for the space Marines.

Damn, that sucks.

The Marine looks badass! What army is he from? From the skulls and the omega symbols, I'm guessing one of the more morbid divisions (I'd have said "less cheerful" but Space Marines and "cheerful" in the same sentence sound weird)

In a weird twist, those are actually U's instead of Omegas. The model is from the Ultramarines, though I've gone pretty substantially off the color palette.
In fact, this model is Marneus Calgar.

Now, to me, he's different, since as part of the entire chess set, I've actually been concocting my own lore for each faction to kind of torture the chess theme into a 40k skin. It's been a fun practice.
I also created lore for the Necron and Astartes decks I built after harvesting parts off of the commander decks.
Ostensibly, I could argue that since Forgotten Realms is a part of Magic, I could post my homebrew lore for 40k here too.

Hell yeah, malevolent rule-lawyering is a core part of D&D, so since D&D and Mtg are contiguous I'd say you should be free to go for it imho :D

...I've been made aware of the fact that my lingering problems after the tendonitis I had last year might be because of a degenerative problem to my articulations. It might be weeks before I know for certain one way or the other.

I Am Not Serene.

Oof. Sorry to hear that, Huey. I hope things work out alright, and that you know quickly.

Happy birthday [checks date] ... Greg. You guys don't know him. It's his birthday. He's real.

Statistically speaking I feel that Greg is a common enough name that a Greg had a birthday then.

Yeah! There's like a 100% chance I was right. Because Gregs are real.
