No, one is fine, I think. Two options would diffuse the voting too much and gives more chance of a tie.

Oh, as to the afterlife world... i got HUGELY inspired. If it doesn't win, expect something from me.

That's actually an argument for not voting for it :-)

That's cool, I think yxo and I at least may work on death world seeing as it isn't getting much support. A couple smaller projects are always nice.

Should the creator/suggestor start the project with their vision? Or start from the ground up?

My bigger issue with it is this: Barrinelos seems to have already made it, why remake it? Either we follow a lot of what he did and end up with his version, only different. Or we don't and the work he did on his goes to waste.

Eh, the thing is I haven't really. It was a thought exercise, trying to figure out HOW a world like that would work.
It was tied to one of the planeswalker contests that I never did submit.

I worked out the hows of the planes, but not the whats. Never had any cultures or races or anything like that, just the structures.

That being said, I don't blame you there in. It just isn't as developed as you think.

Ah I thought you had it further along. Mostly because you're you.

In my defense, I did go through a tremendous amount of conceptual physics for a character that ultimately never appeared...

I just went ahead and voted Class War, because I think it holds the most potential. The way I see it, though, we're going to need quite a few more decision-making votes to flesh out something as vague as "Class war" -- but I think that's a good thing since this is a community-made plane instead of just a one- or two-man project.

Voting isn't always necessary. For example, with Jakkard, everyone was immediately on board with stuff like the trains, angels, demons... Or with Sertaria, a lot just got discussed and incorporated.

Sorry, that was bad wording on my behalf. I just mean that Class War defines more of a moment of planar history rather than a setting. To make it a setting, we will need to integrate things like races, tech level, types of magic and color distribution, size of fauna, etc. Point is, that a Class War is vague enough to build on more easily than most of the others.

Ah, yes. That's part of the reason why I picked it. It provides a lot of things that need to be fleshed out. I think our next point of order (Let's say voting is on until Tuesday) should be to figure out what needs fleshing out.

This is why I asked about the suggestion posting their ideas first. Gives.us a starting point. None of it would be concrete, but it would give more of a start than class war or world that wants to kill you.

I'm going to make Part 2 somewhere today, so if you want to change your vote or convince someone to do so, now's the time.

Looks like it's going to be "Class War".
