Yeah, there's some minor stuff like tweaking the wording of a few of the prompts and tweaking percentages so that some of the prompts have a lower chance of getting completely incomprehensibly convoluted.

That's woooork though. Writing new prompts is way more fun than the totally necessary cleanup stuff

Is the goal to just get fun/funny/hilarious results, or is there an overall goal to tweak the generator to make most results plausible?

A little bit of both.

We've already had one great non-canon story come out of these shenanigans. (I think it's a few pages back in this thread - OL wrote it.)

I usually just hit the button until something I find personally compelling shows up.

The way I figure it, plausable results are a plus, and funny results are a plus, so I tend to aim towards "plausable, but with easter eggs at low % so they don't get played out as humor"

As a side note, I've been touching it up a bit.

• Triskivites, Tetravites, and Pentavites have departed the main race list for the token list.
• Creature modifiers now contain a few affixes that Mistform Ultimus is not. You should now be able to roll up a Teenage Mutant Turtle Ninja.
• a few percentages were nudged slightly, based on precedent in their category (normal/strange/unglued, for instance.)
• Agmund now has a crime scene, and can accuse locals. The evidence can also point to someone not on the suspect list (1-in-13 chance: each listed suspect is three times as likely to come up as a left field conviction is to occur)
• Specific prompts for Illarion (visiting a plane and extending an offer of travel to a native after interacting with them) and Clade (Destroying civilization, sometimes on "a distant plane") have been added.
• Nerfed Mari Gwynn's DPS by about 5%
• Planeswalker specific prompts have been normed at 5%, except for Raiker's because it's short and sweet tragic.
• New prompts added. Though there were already some nobody's hit yet when I started, mine will divine whether or not we can call [prompt].

...It's not that surprising.

Also, we've got another instance of the end bit of the Dominaria line getting cut off. I honest to god have no idea why that happens. Sometimes it works just fine and sometimes it breaks. I got nothing.

We have... a huge number of prompts now o_o That's kind of awesome.

We might be able to slightly raise the percentage of the planeswalker-specific prompts since those are all written to be fairly credible.

Also, while I've never written a story from a prompt specifically, I used it to jog my mind while I was trying to figure out the plot of a story that I'm still currently working on. So I think it definitely has potential as a serious tool.

I'm rather glad "dragon" showed up for this (rather than, you know, Kithkin or something)

Yes! I can call nested prompts! This will make the "musical episode" prompts more varied and less of a mass of code should I apply it to them. Then again, perhaps it's best if musicals only call a few of the more common prompts, since many of the later ones would result in confusion with little added humor.

I suppose that could happen... I hope for your sake, Illarion, that Maral knows you're there.
