Eh, it's not a major plot hole. I'm fairly certain I can find some quik dry plot cement to patch that thing up if you want. It won't be pretty, but it'll hold some weight at least.

So, I essentially lack a better place to put this, but:
Where the hell did this end up coming from?!

As an aside, the image of a giant being made to wear this is hilarious...
