I was actually thinking Aloise should meet Raleris first, and then meet Maral through Raleris.

It feels organic that she would go to a GIANT FRACKING LIBRARY and then get referred to Maral for something or other. Hmm... Maybe Aloise is looking for one of the artifacts the Maral has squirreled away? Not... any of the scary ones. Something minor, like a keystone or something that is rumored to unlock an ancient temple so she can go in and transcribe the hieroglyphics for future study.

But she doesn't know where the keystone is, but she heard about this GIANT FRACKING LIBRARY where maybe she can find out? So she goes.

Raleris is just flooded with visitors these days, huh?

I think it's perfectly appropriate to limit the guest list. Though how Fisco and Beryl ended up knowing Raef and Aamir is an excellent question in and of itself. They are... not a group you'd expect to meet.

Maral's open for business, though I would hope at least to get the story establishing her character out before anyone starts running with it.
It's just like I said in Maral's vote though, Aloise would probably be good for Maral since she very easily ends up as tucked away as her artifacts.

I actually think it's cool, though. I mean, look at how dissimilar all those 'walkers are, in terms of background and personality and capabilities. I think it does a good job of showcasing different aspects of the color identity.

We have the same thing on the black side of the spectrum, for that matter. Look at how different all the black-aligned walkers are. There's a ton of variety.

I've been tempted to map out all the 'walkers in the project by their colors to see where we stand. I suspect green is our weakest, likely by far. Maybe I'll do that tonight.

I've been looking at my own color spread carefully every once in a while... but yeah, Green is definitely a big kneecapper for us. I at least have the one, though he's white as well.

I have an idea for a g/u walker but that just increases our blue count and also I fear her narrative place is increasingly becoming occupied by more suitable characters...

I'm not going to lie, there is an extremely morbid and twisted part of me that wants Maral to be sort of blindly head-over-heels for Chardis without really knowing him. Like, he visits her, sweet-talks her, gives her gifts of artifacts, and then leaves. And it's like, the one thing in her life she chooses not to delve deeply into, because she likes it.

What can I say, I'm not always a good person...
