There are more than a few points of dark irony in there (especially the bickering as a way to pass the time and the sigh of anxiety), and even the Goblin Game makes sense if you squint a bit... and then puppet calculation happens, whatever that means :D

Yeah, the "calculate a puppet" thing felt like a descent into madness. I love it.
