That is actually how I imagine every tragedy ending, just the protagonist on their knees, shouting "HUBRIS" to the heavens.

Sometimes I throw in a little eye gouging action to keep it old school.

Hubris is a great word. And, as we've seen in Mel Odrum's Attack, I do love when stories end with some character or another screaming something to her or himself.

I can't explain why my brain makes the particular associational leaps it does. But, when I read this, I immediately heard Uncle Sensei from Divekick screaming "Bankruptcy!" when he gets dive-kicked.

Any time anybody screams anything into the sky, I just immediately go to Dan Vs. these days.
