When I was much younger (I forget how old now), I remember picking up the Ice Age comics at the local shop known as Paper Heroes. I think I got a copy of Chub Toad or something in them. Does anyone know if those comics got archived or scanned for nostalgia reading?

I have quite a few digital assets of the Armada comics.
I do not have all of them.

I'd like to be able to find digitals. I have a scant few from the Fallen Empires line in paper and I'm afraid that if I look at them too much they may start falling apart even more.

I might have all of them, actually... ...But I'm pretty sure they're all back in America, because I didn't think to bring the disc that has them all with me to Canada.

That only just occurred to me. :wallbang:

I believe I have them all, but sadly, only in print. I have never had a digital copy of them.

Never heard of digitals. I own FE 1&2 and two out of the ice age 4, which has annoyed me forever.

It did not hit me to look up digital versions. I own more than a handful of the Armada comics. I can't remember if I have any complete series, but I do remember the joy of finding any at a comic/hobby store.

Sometimes people do post scans. There are scans of the entire Homelands comic floating around, for example.

Is there a complete list of the comics somewhere? I'm beginning to suspect I don't have as complete a collection as I thought I did...

Comics I have

So, for those who know better than I, am I missing any of them that you can see?

I figured Keeper would still have them. :P

In any case, I have the scans, but the account they were on was taken down. I'll see about getting them back up.

That would be awesome.

I couldn't remember who got them to me originally! Thanks again for that :D

Np. I was surprised at the time that you didn't already have them.

Assload of nostalgia here:

People not familiar with cbr/cbz files, I'd suggest a program like ComicRack. If that's not your thing, there are cbr/cbz to pdf converters, Calibre among them.

I also have the recent run of comics, if anyone is interested in those.

I'd love to check out the recent ones!

With recent ones, you mean the Dack Fayden ones? I don't feel good about sharing easily available stuff.

I second Yxoque's feelings about the new stuff. I also just about had a nerdgasm upon reading that, not only were there early M:tG comics (which is a fact I somehow missed all these years); but that someone had compiled and was sharing them.

Also, for those that have tablets: the app ComicFlow is pretty sweet for reading cbr and the like kind of files.

You can also read cbr files by changing their file type to .zip and opening the resulting file full of jpeg (I think I'm remembering that right) images.

I'm also not cool with sharing currently available stuff. The old comics are a different case, because without this kind of web preservation they're going to be lost to the next generation of Magic fans. Both Dack Fayden's stuff and the Planeswalkers anthologies are still fairly readily available, I think. (And I mean... the webcomics are available... on the web... so yeah. I still need to get the second anthology, actually... I keep meaning to do that.)

You can also just extract them with 7zip and view the seperate pages.

I've looked, the only complete English digital I've ever been able to find is the Homelands comic, which I'm happy with because that is my favorite, but I'd like to find the Shadowmage and a few of the standalone comics (I've heard Fallen Angel is by far the worst).
